Sure the C2 is having its first discount, but JB has "silently" discounted the 65" C1 to $2995 before the Click Frenzy coupon code.
I quickly checked the price history and I think this matches the previous historic low. Now the 2022 models are out, it's a price vs stock availability balancing act on these older models. Maybe this is your sweet spot?
Edit: kazer has pointed out that you can buy discounted gift cards to redeem at JB to reduce the price further to $2425.
Tempting, but a pain in the arse to offload my C8, plus I'd need a new HDMI 2.1 AVR. It's in the too hard basket.
I'd really like a C1 before they disappear though because the C2 has gone backwards in some areas, like extra display lag in 4:3 modes. Unless it's been fixed in a fw update that I'm unaware of.
I know they're different TVs but this 65 inch c1 $2750 delivered or $1795 delivered Sony 65 inch X90J from Costco.
As an ozbargainer, is the C1 worth $1000 more than x90j when the sony gets great reviews and less risk of possible burn in and a brighter images in bright rooms but c1 has amazing black dark contrast.
Thanks for your feedback from both c1 owners and x90j owners. I suppose both owners will say they set is great but from value proposition which way would you go and why us specially if you've had a full array local dimming and now gone to OLED.
Had the same struggle - but now leaning towards c1 as x90j feels like “just another tv”, while c1 is really amazing.
the 77" is down to $4399.20 with the discount now as well. even cheaper if you get it with the gift cards for anyone interested

lol bought $1000 worth of gift cards from the above promo. Then the codes didn't work bc you need to do it in-store or someshit… has 16 numbers but the JB website needs 18… SOOOO converted them into 2 $500 JB vouchers and used them to buy the TV… $100 bucks off, is $100 bucks off.

Anyone stuck with physical gift cards and unable to get the click frenzy deal in store. I went in to Epping store and got the discount applied. I spoke to the lady before making the journey. Apparently they have been to told to use the same online code in store as well, only if the customer asks for it. All went smooth, used TCN and ultimate gift cards as well. Got 65X90J for around $1500. Was tempted by the 65C1 but $1k difference is way too much for me.
Initially went to Craigieburn store and they said they need a barcode to apply the click frenzy deal which I didn’t have and they wouldn’t do a deal. So cancelled it and rang a couple do other stores.

Your C8 (and my B8) interface is vastly different.
New one is riddled with ads and incredibly clunky and slow.
It’s not an issue if you use an NVIDIA Shield or Apple TV, but if you do, prepare to be disappointed.
