Booted up my 3DS to check the eShop today - to my surprise Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is on special at an excellent price!
My personal favourite port of Shovel Knight and plays brilliantly on 3DS with pixel art that looks perfect on the smaller screen.
Includes the original Shovel Knight and all 3 extra character DLC campaigns (Plague of Shadows, Specter of Torment, King of Cards).
Note that the 3DS version does not include "Shovel Knight Showdown" like the other versions of the game.
There's been a heap of great deals over the last couple months on the 3DS eShop. Worth checking it regularly.
Lots of excellent RPGs that are exclusive to the console and will only set you back a few bucks.

SMTIV is a must-have! Especially considering we never even got the physical copy.

$14.49 on Wii U but the stereoscopic 3D and resolution of the game is perfect for the 3DS

Can't go wrong for $11! I've played it on PC, Wii U, and Switch but prefer the 3DS over all of them. Just feels perfectly suited to a handheld.
Oooh I thought they had ended the sale on that already I was sad since I'm on holiday and don't have my 3ds or Wii U on me, does it say when the expiry of the sale is on the 3ds version? The Wii U version is stubborn and doesn't say when something on sale ends.
Yep, this one expires tomorrow (May 26th) according to the eShop. Not sure if there's any way to purchase it online via browser? It seems like that can be done for the US eShop.
Do I really have to add $20 via their website to be able to buy this for $11.25 from the 3DS?
If it's been linked to the same Nintendo account as your Switch, you can add funds via your Switch instead and share the amount between both consoles.

Can't even remember the last time I charged my 3DS, turned it on now and full battery! Love this console.
Never played Shovel Knight before despite hearing so many good things about it so at least I have a reason to go back to my 3DS.
