Seems like a decent price and at previous low according to camels^3 . Average reviews though.
Feels like it’s been ages since a decent ultimate boom or jbl xtreme 3 deal so might bite the bullet

big w anker ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
polite golf clap
love this speaker, great price!
how is it compared to Harman Kardon Studio 7?
i don't own one so i have no idea
thanks
Need something abit louder but with the same portability.
Motion plus is way better sound quality but less battery / more portable
It's not stereo though.
Motion Plus is definitely stereo!
Only when you have two paired.
@aboabo: Nope, it's stereo just by itself. Other Bluetooth speakers only have one driver (Some of those JBLs for instance) this one has multiples and uses them
@Droz: Doesn't say it on the box but Motion Boom does. Motion Plus specifically states stereo pairing with two units.
@aboabo: Just tested it! Motion+ is a stereo speaker.
They tell you that it's stereo in a pair because lots aren't - just two speakers playing the same thing.
@Droz: Maybe they could sell more by describing it as a stereo unit.

Maybe they do!

@aboabo: Fair call
How does this compare to the jbl xtreme 3?
Mr fity I’m a huge fan
Jbl extreme 3 is more than double price but is rated top of all of speakers of this class at whathifi (perfect 5 star) - a more fair comparison would be the also very popular charge 5
a more fair comparison would be the also very popular charge 5
I'm afraid I have to disagree. In terms of sound quality, you're absolutely right. The JBL Charge 5 is 40w output while this Anker Soundcore is 30w.
The difference is the target market for both speakers. Both the Xtreme 3 and the Anker are "outdoor" speakers. They are both meant to be loud enough to take to the outdoors, while unfortunately not portable enough to carry around everywhere you go. This Anker weighs 2kg and the Xtreme 3 weighs 1.83kg, so it is fair to compare the two in terms of size.
You do make a fair point about the price. The reason why this Anker significantly falls behind the Xtreme 3 in terms of sound output is due to the price. The Xtreme 3 is a premium portable speaker in comparison to this Anker. The Anker will do the job and will be loud enough for most people, but won't compare against the 100w output you get on the Xtreme 3. The Xtreme 3 is truly the best you can get (currently) for this size of speaker.
Will I be able to blast music from one end of the train to another with this or nah?
U can if u believe u can
Make sure your sit at the front. :D
Yes. Remove frequencies under 250Hz, increase frequencies from 1.5kHz, set volume gain to ∞
You're good to go. They'll be hearing something at the front… Might not sound like music anymore, but as long as they can hear it :/
is there big w anker?
