Hi,
I need some advice about buying a smart phone.
I do not need an expensive one, just a older type that is value for money, preferably prepaid?
I don't know anything about the phones so any advise is much appreciated.
Thanks :)

Can you think of any around $100 mark?
I originally had one of those Huawei U8150, that were $99 on crazy johns (the memories…)
Would like another one, or better if its around.
Just had a look around:
http://www.crazyjohns.com.au/huawei-ideos-x3/view-prepaid/Slight upgrade of the original u8150.
If you dont mind the small screen, dont mind the slow speeds (basically no games NO DRAW SOMETHING!!!)
Its a decent choice.(also assuming you need a sub $100 phone)
That would be correct but I dont know anything about the phones so just seeing what is out there.
Also, Crazy johns says its $71 on this page:
http://www.crazyjohns.com.au/prepaid-mobile-phones/But $170 on the link i gave you.
It was actually $69 at woolies until the start of the month :<

http://dicksmith.com.au/product/E7328/virgin-lg-optimus-one-…I need help I want a great smart phone its out of Samsung galaxy s3, htc one x and the Sony xperia s ii want to mark the right choose. I can order the Samsung now before it comes out.
Please help. It does matter all phones battery don't last these day but I want to be able to put a SD card into it.Surly a board in your own language would better suffice.
no idea what your asking for.
Exactly, technology just depreciates too quickly to be spending hundreds $$$ on a phone, can't go wrong the above great deal or similar 1/2 off IMO.
Bonus - this guy is providing unlock codes for free.
Aim around $150 mark for an "android" smart phone when starting off. You will find it is reasonably laden with features and will not be as disappointing as the sub $100 versions.
Brand… ? Personal choice but for me I would go with HTC, Sony, and Samsung?
Do a little research… it helps a lot… here are some links.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.phpI disagree, have a Hauwei U8150, and love it. Does everything i need. emails, Words with friends, and i have iGO for navigation.
AND I CAN CALL PEOPLE ON IT!!!!!!!
Unless you wanted something to surf the web on of course. But you can get better phones now for well under $100.
"I disagree" You are allowed to :-)
lol, i know. Did i come off too strong?
$100 bucks, give or take fifty (nowadays) is quite good place to be. Use any saving on a Woolies SIM/credit.
What then is your budget? If less than $300, then maybe have a look at
Take a look at deals under the Mobile Category and read the comments/reviews :)
