Hi there, Thanks for your message. Based on our market survey and the prices normally you see at retailers, this is the level of prices for branded underwear like Pierre Cardin. We thank you for your feedback and will note it for future campaigns too. UnderTheBelt
I think you'll find Bullion's question was rhetorical.
Basically what you just said is you're going to charge as much as you can regardless of what you paid for these, so long as you're still competitive…
Don't the majority of businesses operate along those lines? The assumption then is that with 50% off, they would not be selling at a pricepoint below their competitors.
@illusionarybreeze
Not necessarily, I find a lot of businesses will determine their selling point by what it cost them for the product + getting to and holding it in stores + advertising + a small profit margin. This allows them to sell it at the lowest possible price resulting many more units sold. The amount of profit attached still allows them to reduce it for a "sale" without loosing money on the products.
It's usually only lazy or questionable business that just minus a few dollars from the RRP or what they can find other retailers selling it for.
(I work in this sort of area)
$25-$35 really is around the going price for boxers at the moment around Perth. Just go into any Myer or David Jones. You can't even get Bonds (in boxers) cheaply.
Men's underwear really is a complete rort unless you're willing to buy and wear the 3-packs of $10 underwear from Woolworths that our mothers bought us at 12-years-old. I'm certanly not.
I've seen these on sale at $15 for 3 at Harris Scarfe.
All these models are at least at half mast.
Yeah, it's putting me off my breakfast :)
LOL, i almost spat out my coco pops, never heard of that expression before
What do you mean? =|
These are shipped from Asia and are asian sizes (in asian packaging). Bought these from this site a few months back for my partner and they are tiny in the crotch area (where it matters - not trying to be crude). Going up a size does not rectify this (the seller sends a larger size by default). So please be aware if this before buying.
yeah RRP has gone a bit in just 3 months.
Based on your 50% off back Feb would have put the RRP at $20
talkabout runaway inflation
You mean to say that a pair of these jocks RRP is $30…. What has the world come too?
