I really enjoyed ID4, up until the point they said "Computer Virus". Prior to that, it was pretty awesome.

It was forgettable.
I was so into this movie back in '96. I saw it twice in theatres and even bought the novelization. There was quite a bit in it that they left out of the movie, while the book didn't have the same cheesy jokes that the movie did - it had a more serious tone.
What's that? I actually did order the ID4 poster on the internet from the USA at the time and I had it mounted and framed!
