Do you mean you can still schedule automatic turn on/off the socket without wifi?
Looks like thats the case according to their website.
Yep.
You can still use the app to view and control.
I have the TP-Link Tapo C210 cameras too and they also work and can be controlled without internet.
I like the Kasa version of these.
What are tha main differences with this and the Kasa version?
Anyone using these with Home Assistant?
A previous firmware update broke HA but as I understand, all is now working again via a recent update.

This was for Kasa not Tapo IIRC
** oh and people are reporting they no longer are answering to the emails for local access.
Completely cold-shouldered the community.
This was never an issue in Australia the last time I checked. (Unless you're referring to a more recent issue)
@theguwithnoname: I am talking about local access port and API being closed off and only allowed to use cloud to control Kasa devices. It most certainly was an issue in Australia!
@String name: If you're referring to the issue in 2020, some google shows that the issue happened for the UK variant of the HS100/HS110
@theguwithnoname: Interesting … maybe I bought them online. If this is the case it's a nice caveat to know. Thank you!
Yes, through https://github.com/petretiandrea/home-assistant-tapo-p100 on HACS.
Note it can do a lot more than just P100 if you look at "Features" section
These are currently $19.20 (HT) or$19.95 (Amazon AU) on Amazon.
Bringing the price down by using voucher is not a deal.
FYI I've connected these to my network with no internet access (to the device).
For both the pairing and the control.
Me likey local control
