  • Got it thanks op!

The design assumes the thickness of knives are all the same. Mine arent. Wish it had a couple of slots that were a bit wider apart to allow for thicker knives.

"up to 9 knives" so it suggests that bigger knifes would take up "2" slots with the upper slot meant for smaller knife? idk, looks like i need to look at the dimensions properly.

      • Looks like you may be able to more than 9 knives in it, depending on your knives. One of the reviews has a picture and it's hard to see but I think they have more than 9 in there. In any case you can see how someone has used it.

        • idk, i suspect those demo shots are of steak knives lol. i got one anyway because my drawer is in a dangerous mess of different kinds of knives.

@slowmo: I want one of these holders mainly because of the Victorinox steak knives we keep in our drawer. We keep our larger knives in a knife block on the bench or the built in knife block in our dish drying rack. Chances of us cutting ourselves with the steak knives in the drawer are small but I've read enough stories on here that I don't want to become a statistic.

@ozbs25: ah, i don't own steak knives but i went through a 'ooh shiny knife! buy!' phase a while ago… so here i am :D

funny enough, i am using scissors or a small fruit knife more nowadays because I want to avoid washing the chopping board.

@ozbs25: I hold my breath every time I stick my hand into our utensil drawer

I bought this for full price as I have a few knives and I hated them touching in my draw (when my gf washes up).
I have various chef knives, a serated bread knife, a gyuto, Nakiri (like a small cleaver) and a deba (for breaking down fish) as well as a bunch of smaller paring knives. This organiser works really well to keep everything sorted. At this price, don't even think about it just get one.

  • Thanks OP, I've been waiting for a price drop on these.

  • Anyone know how difficult it is to clean the slots?

    • It's nearly impossible, it doesn't open up. We had to air it out for days after washing the first time before use. Should be fine after that as only clean knifes go in?

      • why would anyone store dirty knives

        • To keep them safe from dirty knife maids…

@bargainshooter: Not into my knives, nope

@bargainshooter: if you are getting dirt inside your drawers, i can safely say you have bigger things to worry about.

        • Toe knife?

batteries, chargers -> robo vacs -> message guns, airpurifiers and IoT lights.

  • was literally looking at these a couple days ago and bought a bamboo and bigger one instead. but at this price I would've done 2 of these :o(

    • take comfort in the fact that the bamboo one looks fancier :)

  • Would this safely store my poop knife?
