I’d take rumours like that with a grain of salt.
If you can wait, then wait. My guess will be limited stock at launch but at the very least the RTX3000 series should drop in price
Yes, I meant 4000 out => 3000 drops. I'm happy with my 2060 superb for now :D

Eagles are fine, they're just more limited in terms of OCing so if you plan on overclocking them, get something else.
