Where are the "alcohol is bad for you and you should feel bad" comments? They usually arrive way before me.

They're probably all in bed with a hangover.

    • Alcohol is bad for you. I know that coz I feel bad this morning

  • How much to spend to get 25 back.. Is it 125

yes, I've noticed lately that two offers like this are rarely on at the same time now

      • Yup the offers have dried up massively in the last month or 2

As your title suggests "tightarse" I plead guilty I expect a "deal" to be honored especially with screenshots of transactions related to the provider. Read the comments under those complaints of people with similar problems (as I see below THIS comment) . If people do not complain if they do not get what they opted for then the "REWARD" program should be called out for it
Regarding " different cashback provider" Shopback those complaints were acknowledged as I had feedback from the CEO personally and rebated BEFORE expected date now THAT is customer service. Can you supply CR CEO contact ? Again you give me the opportunity to point out the MANY negative comments regarding tracking of CR on the last BWS promotion easily found on Ozbargains. One of the main reasons I like Ozbargains is to peruse comments previous to pulling the trigger

    • Didn't get my CR cashback from the recent BWS 40% offer, the post explicitly said that using the welcome code was fine yet somehow it is still the official reason why everyone has to wait 7 days to put in a claim

      • +1

I did use the welcome code and got the notification for cashback not long after. I’m sure the CR team will be helpful when you put through your claim.

        @harthagan

the post explicitly said that using the welcome code was fine

No, the post did not explicitly say that using the code was fine. Here’s the exact quote:

Stacks with $10 off $50 spend for new BWS customers with signup.

It required a signup, and eligibility was for new BWS customers only. I have no idea of your circumstances, but maybe BWS recognised your acct or IP address etc as a return customer.

Only way to know for sure is to lodge a claim as I advised in the original post. If BWS confirms you are a new customer, you will get your cashback. Thanks.

Doesn't really make sense though. If BWS system flagged a transaction as not being from a new account surely the code for $10 discount would be the first thing to be rejected. That the code was accepted and discount applied but the cashback doesn't track means something else has gone wrong with the tracking process. Maybe they saw a lot of people using the code and cashback and just decided to not track them after a few had already gotten through. I certainly did sign up for a new BWS account and received the email with the discount code. I used the same new account to login and the same code that was sent to my email.

@harthagan: Hi again. How many BWS accounts do you have? Linked below are a couple of comments you made on a previous SB BWS post about the code. I’m not trying to be rude or condescending, but you either are a new customer or you’re not.

            • @tightarse: Tick tick BOOM!

            • +1

@tightarse: With all due respect nowhere in liquorlands terms and conditions does it specify anything about only having one account per customer.

But nonetheless I have one, my partner has one and my brother has one. If I happen to use all 3 accounts it doesn't change liquorlands bottom line one iota

              • -2

@harthagan: Unsure what Liquorland has to do with BWS, but this is not about bottom lines. I was trying to provide a possible explanation regarding your concerns. Please raise a claim and let’s move on. Thanks.

@harthagan: So are you talking BWS or Liquorland?

And err BWS now has 8 accounts for me, 6 for my missus, all at the same address, all using the same CC (we just don't link our EDR card), CR came thru within 30mins. So maybe if CR didn't track, I'm guessing you didn't use the app and thus it's your browser?

                • +1

@M00Cow: Yes I meant BWS, specifically the terms and conditions for the $10 new account offer.

Basically if you create a new account and received the code via email then you have met the conditions for the promotion

            • @tightarse: yeah, i think people seem to confuse new customers with new account …. you can fudge it and try to look like a new customer , but you know you actually aren’t ……it’s why they will often use the cookies in the browser to see if the browser has been used already with an account ….. same with matching paypal or credit card numbers to identify unique accounts ….depends how much spare time you have to switch accounts and make them unique and phone sims you want to have …

i bought my $140 worth, they tracked and acknowledged on this deal

i could log in with another browser and email and phone number and different address and name but i have other stuff to do, these deals are frequent and i won’t finish the 4 bottles of spirits before the next deal so i will wait till the and use my normal account and all will work …..

    • I beg to differ, never once I’ve had a single issue with CR, been using it for years!!!

It shows 2000 bonus points for $50 click n collect order on Liquorland facebook page. Ends Sunday

    • I can assure you that you are seeing things, no such promotion exists

    • that deal finished midnight last night

      • That's what I thought too but their customer service did confirmed for that

        • Weird. I have emails stating it was finishing 14th may. But I got 2000 points last Monday for an offer that was meant to finish on the Sunday for first choice Who knows what they are doing. Hope you get the extra points like I did last week

    • Can you please screenshot the promo and paste a link here. Cheers.

Espolon Reposado tequila is currently $58 a bottle, which is good. Combined with this discount comes down to $47.45, which is excellent.

This is my go-to tequila for margaritas.

  • Any more deals for cashback anytime soon?

  • Thanks
