Fair enough, I had a mate who got one as well, roughly around the same time; but the local Orificeworks charged him $52. Have I mentioned that I hate Orificeworks! :p
Anyway, under $50 at a major B&M chain when the cheapest on shopbot/staticice is $46 with no shipping is a fair deal by me, just IMHO! ;)
This printer is pretty good. Got over 1k printing. No problem at all. Brother printing interface is not bad at all. Not like samsung I was using last time. It's really troublesome.

Vote however isnt valid,as you are using 1 year old comparison. Now if it was a current deal being offered by a vendor, then this would have been helpful, and vote would have stood.
Think about it. Every coke, dominos deal should be voted down if they are greater than 36c a can or $3.95 a pizza.

In all fairness, the Brother HL-2130 can be had for $35 from MSY. Cheaper if you want to try your luck with a price match, OW model is 2132 even though it is exactly the same printer.
Yes you are correct that the printers are identical. The digit at the end makes it exclusive and therefore cannot be price matched at Officeworks.
Please dont confuse the point that this can be had cheaper. The point for Bob a was that he voted without showing a current site that does have it cheaper.
Its not for us to second guess this. If you vote down a deal, have the correct information to back up your vote. Using the wrong information can lead to your vote being revoked.
Hell if mods had to always second guess what someone is saying, we wouldn't get any sleep, sex etc until we gave up modding.

This printer has been ~$48 for a long time.
I purchased it months ago from OW, but have now replaced it Xerox Phaser 3106N as it works straight out of the box with Linux & has an ethernet port for ~ $70.
Get OW to price match Hardley + they knock of 5%

Has anyone experienced paper jams with this Fuji laser printer? The last one I bought kept jamming on me, and since then I swore off Fuji. Samsung lasers, in particular the ML 1860, has never jammed, printed around 600 pages on the starter toner.
