This edition includes the season pass (2 DLCs) and is optimised for the Series S|X with 60 FPS, 4K UHD, Ray Tracing, etc.

Note: just a heads up - the game story is set in Russia and the book on which the games are based was written by a Russian author, so you may want to judge for yourself how you feel about that before buying it, given the recent events (I don't know where the developer is located).

    I bought it today, and instead of being triggered, I feel better about my decision if your information is accurate, but it's just my personal opinion.

    This is (I think) game 4 of a series, based on a book, I'm very curious how the game story will develop as I play it, considering that the person who wrote the book is Russian and the developers are Ukrainian.

    Games in this series have a story which is very well regarded (88% to 90% of very positive rating on Steam) which makes me even more interested to see how the story in the game develops.

    Keeping in mind that the some games in the series were made before the conflict started and some were made afterwards (games 1-4 were made in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2019).

      Just a quick Google Translate search:

      Ukrainian to English:
      Slave Ukraini = Celebrate Ukraine

      Russian to English:
      Slave Ukraini = Slave Ukraine

      At first I thought it was the second translation (and I briefly negged the comment).

      But after using Google Translate, I think the first translation makes more grammatical sense, and was the intended meaning (but it's still a bit confusing).

        I meant "Slava ukraini"

        Should translate to "glory to Ukraine"

  Metro Exodus is the third videogame in the series (after Metro 2033 in 2010 and Metro: Last Light in 2013). The Redux releases in 2014 were just the same releases for the Xbox One/PS4 generation.

  Definitely an interesting franchise and well worth a play, both for gameplay and atmosphere. I've only played 2033 and some of Last Light, so I'm not sure what it's like to jump in at Exodus.
