Hmmmm are they gonna have another oopsie? ;)

lol, I still have some in the freezer from the last one hahahahaha

      • +1

how do you prep it to eat it again after freezing?

        • +12

Eating it frozen will burn calories as your body will try to warm you up. Win-win!

        • +1

lol, I just take out what I am going to use approx 30 minutes before, wrap in some cling wrap and then after 30 minutes is just like new (obv not warm, but just like fresh, as fresh as it can be after freezing, but they hold up remarkably well and are still very soft) Make sure you freeze them on the day you buy them. I just put them in clip lock bags in single layer (you can add a second layer after freezing the first lot for a while, to try to keep the icing intact) be gentle in handling them as I would imagine it would be easy to squash them or dislodge icing.

12 seconds in a 900W microwave works for me.

          • +3

@ragrum: This is the way. No more, no less. Just delicious.

  • +8

I wish the price extended to the 7-11's. I am never anywhere close to the actual KK locations.

    • +1

Or even delivery. PIA for most to get the KK stores i reckon.

      • +7

PIA for most to get the KK stores i reckon

My fat would agree. Too much jiggling to get there, but the law of attraction. Fat likes fat.

        • Once you get moving the momentum will get you there.

    • +1

I'm literally a few minutes away from one. I will eat a dozen for you, brother.

      • thank you one punch man. You never let me down :)

        • +1

You just know if Saitama was real, he'd be an OzBargainer.

  • +2

Livin app has buy $20 for a bonus $15 for more savings.

    • +4

      Liven u mean?

      • +4

        Livin la vida loca.

    • some of this deals is online only so you can't even use the Liven app unless paying full price in store. The last $12 promo was extended but only the first day the store price is $12, the extended days is only online order for C&C which means you can't use Liven app.

This promo is instore so you can use Liven app :)

      • +1

so buy the $20, get $15 savings so you have $35 to spend.

Buy 1 dozen on thursday $12 then you have $23 leftover (via liven) to spend whenever instore at KK

        correct?

suprised KK has liven too ..

        • +1

I got it for 100% bonus credit. $50 get me $100 credit to spend at KK, there is no expiry date for Food Dollar. You can spend as many times as you want.

I also got the 25% Victorian Dining Claim as well for some restaurants in my Food Dollar.

  • +2

Seems expensive when you could get two dozen for $13 a few weeks ago

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/694279

    • what do you do, wait until another deal pops up then

    • +1

not really, that deal is only online. I got Liven credit for 100% bonus credit so effectively I only pay $6 for a dozen ;)

    • +4

That was a bug though…I wouldn't count on it happening again.

  • Need a deal for 26 May.
Cheap way to cover World's Biggest Morning Tea.

    • +1

Buy this. Freeze it. Leave it out in morning to defrost. ??? Profit?

    • +3

Order online on 12th for pickup on 26th.

      • I did wonder if that was an option…

  • Available for one day only or till stock lasts.

gee, is that really difficult to make more donuts?

    • +3

Sure makes producing more doughnuts difficult when your bakers and drivers have to go home after their shift.

  • If I go in store can I get it at 9am or when they open or do I have to wait till 6pm?

    • Usually when they open and it's within the time that they provide on their website.

They get some ID maybe and/or your email order, cross your name out of their list and give you your doughnuts.

      ez pz

Edit: To clarify, what I just mentioned would be on the 13th. The 12th should be after 6pm.

  • Perfect timing as I was just craving for some KK's last night.

PSA about Mascot (NSW) store. For those who might not know/have checked, it seems that they've changed their Drive-Thru times to 5:30am to 1:30am.

Swear it used to be 24/7. Either way, unsatisfied 3am = saved money. Happy days.

  • SA = no love for diabetes

  • +1

I'm living in Canberra and I am so sad……..

  • +2

Here we go again. I really need to go get a blood test this year after all these donuts

  • Thank God I dont live anywhere near their stores!

  • Their store is quite disorganised and inefficient. Many people on the shift but requires lots of walking back and forth. There's something wrong with the layout of their stores.

80+ years in the business, they have not optimised their processes.

    • Probably a franchise. The one in Auburn has traffic controllers then when you go inside, there's lots off staff beyond counter with trays of doughnuts. Barely any customers in store though!

      • +1

That indicates their efficiency. They're so good, they serve the customers super quick!

  • Can anyone please advise me if the click and collect date can be changed once the order is placed.
For example, i want to order for 22nd May but the event could be postponed to the following week.

    • Not sure if they still allow it but yes I changed my date after contacting their main office to a new date I specified. This was at least 2 years ago before covid times though

  • Not this time KK. I will resist.

    • Dieabeetus is good for you.

      • If not, Nubbin can always help making public health commercials about the beetus.

  • +4

There is a code for online ordering to get them at $12

    Link

  • Offer starts from 6pm.

    • You too huh

      • yes, I was getting excited to smash a dozen for breakfast, then the reality hit when I couldn't order. Now I feel ashamed.

  • +1

  • I went to Chatswood one they have boxes ready to be sold

  • How often do these occur? The furtherst date out that I can select for click and collect is 10 July. I was hoping for end of July.

    • Last time I bought them for the last date then emailed to ask for change of date to further out. They were not happy and made a bit of an issue so I don't recommend trying that as I think they are on to that trick :(

  • Like our population isn't fat enough already.

  • Any reason why you can't click and collect tomorrow?

    • Yes, thats not in the rules.

  • +1

Ordered 1 Dozen each week for the next four weeks. :)

  • No glitch this time unfortunately

  • Got 3 dozen for 21 dollars.

  • They said to freeze the ones you won’t eat within 2 days. Last for 2-3 months.
Defrost over night and don’t microwave

  • Sorry , using liven

  • Just picked up mine for the office Biggest Morning Tea.
    All good.
