I need some help installing this any reliable videos in YouTube?

    any reliable videos in YouTube?

It’s pretty easy. Any video will do.
Buy an SSD with a heat sink pre-installed. It’ll cost more but will certainly make it easier.

Is your console storage full of PS5 games? Or is it a mixture of PS5 and PS4 games? You could always get an external SSD, Samsung T5 or something, and offload PS4 games on to that. PS4 games are still playable from external storage.

    • I am already using external drive for PS4 games. Thanks

  • I bought a 980pro 2Tb drive and a reasonably cheap separate heat-sink for it which was super simple to install. Took the cover off, opened the little drive bay, screwed it in and put the lid back on. Works great hasn't skipped a beat in months, don't be scared to give it a crack.

    Official easy installation guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1vF42QfmTk

    You'll want a WD SN850, Firecuda 530 or 980 Pro.

  • Guys can you please let me know where I can buy pre-installed heat sink for 1TB? I was looking at few threads and there was one from Samsung 1TB with heatsink for $200. Not sure if I was even looking at the right storage device.

  • Any updates guys?
I’m eying this one and it’s out of stock. It was going around for $198.

    Samsung 980 Pro 1TB M.2 SSD with Heatsink for PC & PS5, Black (MZ-V8P1T0CW) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09J159SWL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i…

  • I got it for $199 from

I hope they are legit and it’s something I can install easily.

  • Any comments or feedback guys?

  • I'm not a cheapskate by any means, I bought my Ps5 from a scalper for slightly above retail price, but as a matter of principle no way am I paying another $200 just for extra storage. I don't need games piled up. When I start a new title, I play it exclusively until I finish it. So once I'm done I just uninstall and download something else.

No reason to have multiple 200+GB games at once.
