15off12

Hi everyone,

It's Peter from OECK here. We are running a special which gives customers a 12 month subscription for just $70.96USD (~A$100.28). Coupon will work on both plan and prepaid. We offer a 30 day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the service.

Oeck is a new type of VPN with industry-first features. We own all of our own hardware and do not use hard drives at all. Our VPN nodes are RAM only and we do not log user VPN traffic or activity. Our system is highly automated so that you don't need to go server surfing to find a server for channels such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. Simply connect to the VPN region closest to you and we take care of the rest. We have 30 residential IP Netflix regions available and many other streaming services which can be independently set.

  • Can recommend their service. Amazing!

Very low latency on their AU servers. Plus 10 allocable inbound ports for your home services.

Hey Peter, is this offer stackable for current users?

    • Hi ob1wan,

Thank you for your very kind feedback. Cameron and I are both happy to hear that you're pleased with the service!

We have not automated stacking. However, if you open a support ticket I think we should be able to stack this on your service without too much of a fuss :)

EDIT: I noticed you mentioned the port-forwarding. Have you had a chance to use the "smarts" in it yet? We go a step further with it, so you don't need to configure your device to the ports we allocate you. You can actually tell us which ports you want forwarded to make life easier for your system setup. You can also access the devices with the same address regardless of which VPN node you end up on :)

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

      • That's awesome. Have had my port forwarding set up for a while and have not had a single issue so far so of course didn't know anything about it.

Will give it a go in the upcoming weeks.

        Thank you

What regions do you support? Let's say I want to watch FancyStreamingService in let's say South Africa, is this something you support or is it just the big streaming services like Netflix, Hulu etc?

        No BBC iPlayer?

        • Hi M00Cow,

BBC is not officially supported, but we do have workarounds in place for some devices. You will need to open a support ticket with your account for further instructions.

          Regards,
          Peter @ OECK.

      • So my ultimate solution would be a provider that can for a device (my htpc) using Kodi to have a single VPN which can be set to US ESPN+, US Hulu, US Disney+ (but not essential), US Paramount+ and South Africa DSTv, but bypassing all the usual Aus sites (Kayo, Foxtel, Nine, etc). If this works it will be a case of shut up and take my money!

Right now I need to switch VPN depending what Kodi add on I am using :-(

        • Hi jaymzrsa,

ESPN, HULU and Paramount should all work when connected to any VPN region ( we suggest Australia if you're located in Aus ). We have not heard of DSTv but I believe we should be able to get it. Kayo and Foxtel, Nine etc should also work.

If we can't get your setup 100% of how you would like it, I am sure we will be able to do at least 90%. Just open a support ticket with the services you like and if we don't have them we will try and add them. Depending on who shares a CDN with other services will determine how efficient your setup will be.

But in a nutshell, that is what our smartRouting is. We allow you to "be" in multiple places at the same time. This is unique to OECK.

          Regards,
          Peter @ OECK.

          • @OECK: Sorry mate, So many questions. Just forgot one biggie, what's your support for Stan?

            • @jaymzrsa: Hi jaymzrsa,

No problem with the questions. Ask as many as you like :)

Stan should also be okay. If you run into any issues, please open a support ticket so we can take a look.

              Regards,
              Peter @ OECK.

        • Also look at smart DNS.

          • +1

@M00Cow: I've had horrible results with pretty much all of them tbh. I have life time accounts coming out my ears. The problem is the one size fits all approach so even though I'm in Aus I still had all the supported Aus services routing via the VPN. Foxtel and Stan both have issues. DSTv which I use a lot was so slow it was unusable, other providers just didn't support it. Amazon account ended up getting locked because it deemed "your account looks like it's been compromised". Removed 6 months of my purchases, they just disappeared. Definitely over those. Tried unlocator, SmartDNS and getflix. This piqued my interest as it seems super granular which I'm hoping will streamline everything.

    12 Months residential IP smartROUTING

I guess this means ABC iview will not be blocked? I'm with PIA and finding many sites blocked…. sadly it's not just streaming sites it's everyday websites.

    • Hi neednoLOVE,

      It should work :)

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

  • How does it go with Chinese servers?

    • Hi Ohmatokito,

Truth be told we have not tested in China for quite some time. Last time it was working. However, you may have to implement Obfuscation in order for it to work.

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

  • Do you offer a trial account?

    • +1

      Hi poulay,

We use to but it got heavily abused so we got rid of it. There is now a 30-day money-back guarantee. Effectively a trial.

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

  • Hi Op, does it support Turkey for Xbox game pass ?

    • +2

      Hi bigdig,

No it doesn't. We'll look into it to see if we can come up with a way around it. Any reason for that? Is it only for purchasing or for gaming?

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

      • Thanks. Purchasing

        • Hi bigdig,

If you let me know what you need the Xbox Pass in Turkey for, we can look into seeing how we can get around it. If it is only for purchasing ( not gaming and leaving it on ) then there is a big chance we can do something about it. However, if it is for connecting via a Turkish region, this will not be possible.

Thank you for your purchase, but please let me know as soon as you can about what you need the Xbox Pass to do, as if that is the main reason for the VPN, we either need to accommodate a workaround for you, or refund you as our service will not be suitable for your needs at the moment.

          Regards,
          Peter @ OECK.

          • @OECK: Thanks Peter, I meant setting my region to Turkey to purchase Xbox game pass. That’s what I was referring to when I said purchasing

            • @bigdig: Hi bigdig,

I think perhaps we can accomodate that actually. Give us some time to look into it, and we'll take a look. I suggest opening a support ticket with us titles EOI: Game Pass. We won't reply to it right away, but if we come up with a solution, we will reply and you can then make a purchase.

              Regards,
              Peter @ OECK.

  • Does residential IP mean the service is only for residential clients, or that the end point IPs are from residential IP blocks?

After an Australian residential IP to use for scraping Australian websites (CAPTCHA is blocking other VPN IPs). Very small scale, literally less than 100 pages per week from one website

    • Hi kapone,

It means the end point is from residential IP address, BUT it's only used on our automated streaming. Even though 100% of the traffic is encrypted and goes through our VPN exit-nodes, certain traffic is additionally routed through our residential IP addresses ( for streaming services ). If you shoot me a PM, I can take a look at the website you are scraping and maybe we can do something about it.

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

  • out of curiosity, how would your company respond to government subpoena for usage/activity logs?

    • +2

      "what logs"🤣

    • +2

      Hi selphie,

There is nothing we can hand over. The most we could do is hand over the VPN node if we are forced to do so, but they not only don't keep logs, but they run on RAM only. It will literally be us handing over a useless box. Then we just replace the server.

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

  • Hi Peter
Can this be used at the router level - specifically a UDM Pro router, such that all traffic routes via the VPN, or is the client specific? ie do I need to install a client on each device?

    • Hi paulrozza,

Depending on your router - yes. Not all routers are made equal though. Some don't have the processing power ( even though they may support OpenVPN ) to give you decent speeds. These usually top out at around 20Mbps. If you let me know your router model, I can take a look to see if it will support OpenVPN, but I don't know what speeds you will get from it. Let me know.

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

      • Hey Peter

It’s a UDM Pro (Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Pro). Thanks for checking.

        • Hi paulrozza,

Unfortunately this will not work on your router model.

          Regards,
          Peter @ OECK.

  • Hey Peter,

Would it work with Hotstar India?!

    Regards,

    • Hi Curiouscat,

I believe we have played around with Hotstar as it rings a bell, but I don't see it in our list. This either means we were not able to acquire an account ( perhaps it needed in Indian CC or similar ) or it was not possible to do. If you have a login for it and you're willing to share it with us, we can take a look to see if we can unblock it.

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.
