Reputable Place to Buy Acer Swift X for ~ $1500?

Hi all,

I am looking at purchasing an Acer Swift X for light gaming and work in the next month or two. I am looking to only spend around $1500 if I can. I am just looking for reputable places to pick one up. Reasons I have gone for this laptop are the weight and screen size with the (possible) ability to play some of the latest games at 1080p.

The specific configuration I am after is this one

Let me know your thoughts on this laptop and if you know a safe place to buy it. I am worried about Warranty etc if there is an issue.

    But does the laptop, in that configuration, come in at your price range? Or are you looking at champagne on a beer budget? EG the Amazon link is $270 over your budget

      That's a good point. Most of the prices I've found for overseas options are coming in around $1500 to $1600. It just seems we are getting an Aussie tax on top.

        Yep, it's called warranty, including ACL if anything goes wrong beyond the factory warranty

        And that Amazon seller doesn't fill me with confidence either

    Seems to be better specs and local AU stock so you get full warranty and ACL guarantee. Also don't need to buy another charger. All under your budget.

      Thanks, I did consider, but the 16 size it what pushed me away. The weight over 2.5kg is just a bit over what I want.

        It's a much better RTX 3060 though for future-proofing. There's always compromises to be made.
