@hamza23: will do. the order is still showing 4 x 12.

              • @smerm07: Oh I also ordered some through Catch and I got sent individual bars!!!!!! Contacted them, they said it was a listing error and they put through a refund. Already received my refund, and I get to keep the bars!

            • @hamza23: refund email just came through for the full amount. had a dispatch email a few days ago. strange.

  • This is gonna sell out soon

    20g sugar per bar

    • Thanks, don't feel so bad missing out!

      • +6

lol, you don't buy this as a snack. It's an energy bar for sports

        • +3

But it's good to point out. In reality there is a tiny about amount of the population that needs these.

These are not a snack bar. If you don't realise they're high in sugar, as per cheapkiwi, you likely don't need them/shouldn't be eating them.

          • @incipient: Yeh, these were to be for the missus, she trains harder than me. Still, not all energy bars rely so heavily on sugar?

          • @incipient: Eat a banana and figs.
Most (profanity) don't realise fizzy drinks are high in sugar either. It all doesn't matter as the marketing over the last 20y paints carbs as bad.

Can eat as much animal/fat as you want though.

Roughly the same in a giant banana

    • +2

Great for energy and recovery, low fat & vegan which is great
(who eats sports bars when sitting on couch anyway)
finally finished a box i had for ages , usually short best befores but were still fine.

      • The bars are so dense that they should preserve nicely anyhow

  • +1

    Gone already.

  • Thanks OP. Just ran out and can't stomach paying ~$30 when they go on sale so often. Not sure I've ever seen them this cheap (save for Catch pricing errors)

    Damn, too slow

  • "made with 70% organic ingredients"….. And 30% inorganic?

    • yeh coz saying "and other crap" not a good marketing move

      sold out already :(

      • -1

A better marketing move, might be to move away from airy-fairy things like "natural" and "organic"….and simply tell the buyer the benefits of the product…. I'm fed up of the b.s. in modern day marketing.

  • Spewing. Missed out! :(

Arrived today, expiry is 18/08/22, more than enough time to finish them.
