4 widely spaced outlets would be way better for most people, I suspect.
Plus I'm dubious at the advantage of "surge protection".
Non-protected boards like this are about $4 at Bunnings
this board has a switch… adding a switch somehow puts in extra premium of $20 @ bunnings.
try finding a $4 4x socket board with a switch like this at bunnings for me mate, I'll get 10 of them.
Actually I moved to this one from a $4 Bunnings board, which is very, very unreliable. I know it is not supposed for delicate electronics (I use it for my desktop computer) but occasionally if I touch anything like moving my case a bit I get a system reboot. Very annoying and frustrating.

if case reboots, might be a grounding issue with your case. i'm not defending the board… just ought to tell you to double check your PSU and also see if you have any pins on the m/b touching the case.
another thing with surge boards is that they have a rated wattage/load, anything beyond that, it will trip the fuse.
some of the cheap powerboards are complete junk and don't make a proper connection. just poor design and crap construction.
and ALL powerboards have a resettable fuse, not just surge protected ones

This is really cheap for this one too. I have one of these and it's actually really good, kept my PC up through a few power outages.
