600mm Gas Cooktop with Battery Ignition

Looking to replace the "600mm Gas Cooktop with Battery Ignition" at my investment property.
Any good recommendations under $400 and any estimate to arrange a plumber for the additional installation as it is gas?
Thanks in advance.

Can't recommend them- I just looked for anything under $400.

If its investment cheap and generic is the way to go. Makes better sense to replace cheap ones for each tenant than maintaining a branded cooktop

    • That may be the case if the labour to replace it was free of charge.

Having said that, even gas cooktops are overall very reliable as there's no moving parts.

  • note - I'm not sure of the current standards, but ensure any cooktop you get has a flame failure device built in so they don't have a chance to blow up the house if the flame goes out and still switched on.

The ones linked by Youfah & Hoey all have those features ;)

Make sure you get a cooktop with high gas output.

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the ignition, they eventually all stuff up. You can always give the tenants a $5 gas lighter.

Here's a reliable brand with battery ignition. Not sure what the gas output is
