    Seems like it should be active though, so I'm not sure how that will track.

      I've been saying this for a while. The number of people literally too stupid to give bargains on a plate to on this website has exponentially increased over the last couple of years. There used to be a lot more "street smarts" on here back in the day. I'd click on a bargain and there'd be even more helpful advice on how you can save more, or people recommending what items were best value to take advantage of the bargain further. Now there's just people who can't figure out the bargain or complaining that it's not available for them in the exact way that they want.

      I presume in future, bargains will just be written in emoticon or caveman speak to make it even simpler?

        • I make a lot of interpretive dance jokes at work. I feel like it's one of the few jokes I can make without attracting the ire of HR or "offending" people.

  • Someone pointed this out before but FYI since there's a minimum of $25 for delivery and a cap of $10, the most you can get is 40%.

      I've ordered delivery from them before and have never got this option or email or sms.. must be a pick up thing to confirm that you're there or something

  • Has anyone tried the new REDS HOT FRIED (Our Crunchy Fried Chicken is coated in our signature Reds Hot sauce)? Any feedback on it?

    I've had the fried chicken and buttermilk wings. They were nice but more salty than KFC.

      had it like a month ago and honestly it was ok. it was mildly spicy but id still prefer normal spicy chicken, not chicken thats drenched in hot sauce. also the sauce smells like shit. so id rather just buy it without the sauce and add your own its not that great.

    I haven't had Red Rooster in a long time, so might grab this for lunch.

    Though, looking at the menu and was just curious, I noticed that it's ~$40 for the Fried Pack shared meals which only consists of 8 pieces of Fried Chicken (extra $4 for RR's special hotsauce), Large Mash & Gravy, 2 Large Chips, Large Crunchy Slaw & 1.25L Drink. Unless the pieces of chicken are huge, it hardly seems worth the money. Am I missing something? I would rather go to KFC for VFM boxed meals…

    Every stores menu works except for my local. It just doesn't open up and is blank. Tried on different browsers and platform. Redrooster!!!!

  • Same issue here. Nearest store has no menu, further away store has a menu. Don't know what's happening! Not worth driving an extra half hour to get 50% cashback!

    Just my 2c, had a pretty trash experience last time it was 40%. Did my orders thru CR app, got the text confirmation, went in (doesn't seem to have a drive thru option) and as soon as I pressed I'm here or something, got a text saying there was an issue, another text saying I won't be charged. Placed another order thru cr app in store and it worked after many tries of pressing the confirm button.

    RR still took money for the cancelled orders and I had to file a PayPal dispute, 1 order didn't track (cr did approve the enquiry right away so props). And the food was so salty I got sick after getting a sore throat 🙄

    It only tracked at 1% for me, will the 50% be added onto it?

    I did it through the 50% link so I'm not sure why it only came up with 1%

    I just ordered through the computer, payed through PayPal, pressed confirm using the text they sent, and tracked 50% within an hour.

  • Got 2 pieces of fried chicken for free for becoming a member and scanning the barcode for the free gift. Honestly wouldn't get it again, very flavourless and bland compared to KFC. Can see how people might like it if they value crunchy and crispy above all else.

    The tenders and wings are pretty decent though, and with 50% cashback they are good value

  • As a couple of others above have posted, I can’t load the menu for my closest, which is Moorebank. No problem looking at the next one in Panania, which is not as convenient for me.

  • Tried the spicy and crispy fried chicken and the wrap. Chicken was very dry and just salty in flavour. The wrap however was decent, tasted almost like a kfc twister. Would go for the wrap again at this price.

  • Anyone else having issues with their order? I placed one over an hour ago for delivery, and haven’t received an SMS yet (that’s what I opted in for). Just tried to call my nearest store as well, and they said they haven’t received an online order either.

    Interesting that no confirmation email is sent (despite asking for an address) or an SMS to say it has been placed.

    • Their “contact us” page is also non-user/time sensitive friendly either. A form is all that’s available? Get with the times Red Rooster and come into 2022 please.
