The X Start 2 is a pretty crappy Android mobile phone.

But it is OK for very light/emergency use.

Used to be $79, then $19, now $9.

Includes a SIM and a $30 recharge on activation of the SIM.

      This had limited stock weeks ago. It's a true unicorn these days.

      Local store had plenty of the $19 one but didn't bother as I would never use it. The 5 year old phone collecting dust in the drawer would perform better.

    A cheap Touch screen remote for HomeAssistant or other types of control. Plenty of uses and for $19 with a $30 sim, not bad.

          Is this the way society operates these days, 6 year olds need phones for status symbols.. geez when I was in kindergarten people would be losing their hat after playing on the oval during lunch.

            @decc0: When I was in kindergarten, I was the only kid who wore a hat in the sun - because I am pretty much albino. Everybody else never wore a hat, even through high school.
