$3k for a 6.6kw lol, no wonder, get what you pay for.
Mine was $3300, better products than in that deal, and the company is still around, and has been for ages. 5 years on with zero issues, paid itself off in under 2 years.

@[Deactivated]: That's just massive cope. Fronius warranty is 5 years, so no matter what I'd purchased, I'd be in for issues apparently.
I'd be devastated if I had to buy another inverter for $500 or so after 5 years, would break my heart and bank balance.
same here, paid <$3000 for 6.6kw system, still running. Until my system dies, I still laugh at those paying $8k for a 6.6kw micro or sunpower system.
@freefall101: A lot more obviously, probably got advice on whirlpool that if it's not fronius with LG panels, it will catch fire and kill all small children and animals in a 10km radius.

Yep. No way I'd buy solar from an ad. Only from an established local business that ALSO does solar.
Wow, I think I dodged a bullet. Originally was getting a quote from them and while they sound reasonable I weren't too sure about how long they will exist. Ended up going with one from solarquotes that has been around for 10+ years for a little bit more (bigger system and better quality panel + inverter).
Synergy, which is still a functioning business, no longer does residential solar installs, and instead recommends Solargain.

But if you go to the Synergy website and search “solar”, there is a support number to call for queries on existing Synergy-installed systems.
I think you’ll be ok.
I got a 10kw/10kw system installed for 3600 from them… Operating good.. just hope it doesn't break before we sell the house!
Are you suggesting they have shut up shop?
