You send it to their Aus site in NSW, I usually just use an auspost satchel, 500gm - 3kg etc (~$7 - $11). I try to order my things all together so returns can go in one bag if need be.
Postage cost would probably depend on the size and weight of your item. Sort of a waste of a auspost satchel if you're just sending in a sock.

Did you receive an email? I suspect that the code is restricted to those accounts that they sent an email to.

satchel is possibly one of the worst option. what you need is to have the parcel registered or a tracking number to protect you, unless what you return is cheap stuff, like most the ASOS branded.
