Scooter users are required to wear an Australian Standards approved bicycle helmet.

Riders of wheeled recreational devices and wheeled toys (other than a motorised foot scooter) are not legally required to wear a helmet.
The key advantage of scooters over bicycles is size.
I can easily fit 4-5 scooters on the floor of my car (at the kids feet). I'd have real trouble fitting more than 1 bike in.
Do these have a weight restrictions? Thinking of using this to ride from car park to uni class!
If it breaks, you are just too heavy.
Which suggests you should walk anyway……lololol
A quick google search for "spectrum scooter" found the same scooter (sold out though) at DealsDirect:
http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/spectrum-alloy-scooter-blue/Their description says "Maximum weight capacity: 50kg".
I think it's better to put QLD and VIC in the title.
thanks
I'm amazed we don't see more kids missing their front teeth because of these scooter designs. What happened to good old-fashioned bicycles? Oh i forgot, helmets became 'untrendy'.
Kids are so smart these days.
