So I missed out on the pre order promos for the tab s8 series as I did not need the tablet then but my old surface just died and thought of replacing that with a tab s8+. I already have a standard laptop so will be using that for more intensive uni work like coding but thought the tab s8+ will be good to replace as a note taking/drawing, media consumption and the occasional photo editing device. Currently the edu store as it for $1200 and a free buds live (not really interested in the buds live anyway). I can hold off till June if there is likely to be better deals compared to the current Samsung Edu Store one. I heard many people have bad experience with them as well.
Should I Wait for EOFY Sale for Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+?

Sounds like you could wait a bit longer and use the time to determine if the S8+ is what you really wanted and will fit well into your use cases. You will be happier either way, finding a cheaper price or “the right one” ;)
For my work with travels, I have replaced my 4yo laptop with the S8 ultra, paired with a usb-c portable monitor with Samsung Dex - so much lighter load! The ultra tablet also adds to my multi screens desk setup docked with laptop.
Kinda wish I just went with the live bud deal, but here we are approaching June, let see what Samsung has to offer because they have not participated at all during the click frenzy week.
