    Cashback includes iphone this time.

  • No love for Apple NZ 😢

  • Damn .needed an iPad

    • Isn't iPad Pro included?

      • +1

        starting at $1200 :/

        • Buy the previous year's models. IE 2018/2020/2021 all great models with usb c.

As long as it has that, it'll do the job trust me. Unless you need the processing power for real work or design etc

          • @4ksandknives: how would previous Pros compare with current non-pros?

            • @fredblogs: I would get the current non-pros because of center stage.

            • +1

@fredblogs: Had some research few months ago when I buy iPad.
11 iPad Pro - slightly brighter and bigger screen, promotion, slightly better speaker, thunderbolts usb c, ladar, better camera, if I remember correctly.
If you don’t need above upgrade, get iPad Air 5 if you happy with 64G. They have same m1 chipset and 8G RAM. If you want 128G, then only iPad pro has it as 256G iPad Air price is very similar to iPad Pro 128G.
iPad Air 5 not eligible for cashback here, but iPad Pro is eligible cashback here.

    • yeah, f em.

Does this include the AOC Apple site?

    • No

  • +3

Capped at $100 meaning anything upto or below $1250.

  • Does this work if i pay with gift cards?

    • +2

      Yes - see terms
Cashback is eligible on purchases paid with gift cards, and eligible on the purchase of Apple refurbished products.

  • +4

This can be stacked with a couple of other current deals. I think I might use them all to get 4 AirTags for $32 like this:

Put $150 on my Virgin Money card and buy Apple Gift Cards from Big W. Combined Woolies and Virgin points adds up to $105.

Then use the gift cards to pay for the order through Cashrewards for another $11.92.

Out of pocket expense is $32.08

    • +1

That's total genius! I'm going to try to do exactly the same thing. Thanks for the pointer!

    • -2

Except the cashback isnt valid if you use gift cards

      • +5

        It is

Cashback is eligible on purchases paid with gift cards, and eligible on the purchase of Apple refurbished products.

  • i am not familiar with Ipad line up, can I get cashback for this ipad https://www.apple.com/au-hed/shop/buy-ipad/ipad-pro/11-inch-… ?

    • +1

Yes. The entire line of iPad Pros are eligible for cashback.

  • Does anyone know how many gift cards can be used per transaction?

      • Thanks. Looks like I can add gift cards to apple account to get around 8 limits.

        • Yep. I'm not sure about cashback on transactions paid with both gift cards AND account balance.

          • @settings: Thanks for reminding me. The terms only say gift cards are eligible for cashback, not account balance.

      • Like tinmancactus mentioned above. I am going to see if can source Apple gift card from bigw for an additional 10% saving on the phone.

So to pay using 8x gift cardand the remainder on credit card the transaction will still eligible for the cashback right?

        • I paid using account balance on their long standing 1.5% off deal. It was approved and I got the money. This was in March.

  • Would be good if it was the AOC store. $100 off the already cheaper price of the MacBook pros

  • Can you pick up from in store or does it have to be delivered to get the cashback?

  • +1

These capped cashbacks are sort of useless because all it does is make the education store price the same as the aoc store price which isn't really a saving.

    • +1

      What is this aoc store?

      • Its a store cheaper than the Apple education store. Its for a union or something like that and you might need to show proof that you are part of that union to get the discount but odds are they won't ask.

  • Newbie re Apple education deal, So do I just click on the shop now link (which just takes me to the Apple store) at cash rewards website to get the 8% cashback?
My sister is after a red iPhone 13 so asking for her.

    • education store wont have discounted iphones. But yes, just click on it, but make sure to turn off ad blockers, etc.

      • Thanks.
I thought I need to buy it from the education store to valid then I will need to get my nephew’s edu email (like for the Samsung education store) If it’s just from the Apple store then easy I can order one for her.

  • is cashback eligible for account balances (gift card balances already redeemed?)

    • +1

      Would like to know also.

    • +2

I believe so. I have done this before and they paid the reward. Doing it again today.

      • Thanks

      • +1

champion, appreciate it. loaded up some cards the other day and have been holding out pulling the trigger for some extra cashback

  • -1

Surely they could have made it uncapped

  • anyone have issue linking their anz card? I get a popup with what seems like a field where you enter the card number but I can't actually select the field and clicking continue creates no response.

  • Does anyone know if this works with trade in credit

  • Did anyone's transaction tracked?

    • +1

Cashback tracking for Apple is a little different compared to First Choice Liquor, New Balance, Target, etc.

Important: Cashback tracks to member accounts between 2-7 days after you receive confirmation from Apple that the product has been shipped.

      • +1

Oh right thanks for that. Hopefully it comes through. Love your work.

    • Yes, last night 8pm. Bought 6pm night b4.

  • I'm still waiting on my cashback to track from the back to school deal in Feb. They only tracked the airpods, not the macbook that was ordered at the same time. Cashrewards updated the balance to match, but then said Apple need to verify it. Been just shy of 3 months now. Every time I contact CR II'm told the ball is in Apple's court and that I need to wait.

    • "Cashback activation is valid for 1 transaction only." Does paying once for multiple items in the cart count as 1 transaction?
