Kingfish yield of 55% meat means if you fillet it you get 1.05kg of Sashimi for $36.5 and a 850g frame Kingfish Frame for soup! I ordered these over Easter and they lasted for 2 days in the fridge and was still fresh. Whilst non Sashimi Grade Kingfish similar price from the fish market I usually have to eat the same day! They deliver next day in a nice cardboard cool box with lot of ice packs.

Mud Crab is 1.4kg and at a record size and price for A Grade Crab. For comparison, C Grade Mud Crab is $65/kg at the fish market.

        Yeh, I like draining the blood first so the slicing won't get too messy. The tears though I like to keep in a jar.

      they are only sold in certain sizes so you have to calculate to get per/kg pricing.

    • It's not even cheap. I paid $38 per kg for A grade mudcrab only a few days ago. $45 if you have them clean it. This was at Sunnnybank Fish Market

  • Made a comment in another thread, paid for in advance of 1 week for delivery for this and other fishes - got cancelled in the end because they didn't have stock and tried to give me some other products. Not happy.
