Man, I wish Adelaide had one of these stores. There's been some fantastic deals in the past.

add the lack of GWD to the world's most expensive electricity - I must be crazy for staying….

    And Sydney as well :(

Hope GWD is around for a long time and keep sticking it up to the big boys.

They seem to be doing very well. Dan Murphy's are not happy - but they are all corporate whores, so keep up the good work Tony!

  • Thank you for this - reminds me every Wednesday to get the paper.

  • Fantastic deals this week.

  • Anyone know if they still have the vouchers on their website as well? I have looked and can't see it??

    • No vouchers on the site lately.

Still plenty left at QV DM at 7 pm; think I like that they are advertising in the age now.

I get the feeling that The Age was a lucrative deal for GWD, and in moving they might have agreed to not have any more online ads to boost sales of the newspaper? Either way, grabbed the copy at work and picked up some nice Asahis… Albeit the Singapore versions. I still can't fathom that some people pay top dollar ($40+) for 'Import' beers that are brewed in Australia. Check the barcodes, anything starting with 9 3 is brewed right here. :/

plus the fact it says on the carton/bottle/can where it was brewed
