Family winery Yalumba has released a Grenache for good, to raise essential funds to help combat homelessness in Australia. Entitled the Homefullness Grenache, 50% of the price of each pack sold will go to Forage Built with the aim of raising $90,000 to fund the Forage Built Calyx – transportable, eco-friendly spaces for those without reliable housing to call their own, store belongings and sleep safely. The Calyx was designed in consultation with those for whom it is intended, and was first revealed at Tasting Australia in Adelaide
Built light for pure enjoyment. Plenty of red jube, pomegranate, boysenberry ice cream, a hint of meaty depth and an easy leafy note. Smooth red fruit , with just the right amount of crunch to the texture and a juicy vibrancy. Simply done, but effective and providing truly excellent value.
