    34" not 1440p???

2560x1080 IS ultrawide but 3440x1440 is also around this price these days. Not much of a deal IMO

      • Yes sorry I corrected myself.

It is an ultrawide. Except you wouldn't want to buy it because it's a 1080p vertical resolution display. You can get 1440p for a little extra.

The Dell goes for $499 frequently

      • Yes haha the 2560 and 34" threw me off

      • Thanks. Dell seems to have lower refresh rate and higher response time compared to this.

1080p. Better get something at least 1440p for 34”.

34" at 1080p - wow enjoy those pixels the size of dinner plates.

  • The killer is the low resolution otherwise would be a great deal.

1080p. Bad deal. This monitor should not exist.

    • I've owned a few 24" & 27" 1080p 144Hz+ monitors and a few 2560x1080 monitors. I tried a 27" 1440p 144hz monitor and I didn't think the performance loss for my GPU was worth the fps drop for my 1080ti.

I bought one of these in 2021 while GPU's went crazy in price. I wanted ultra wide, 144hz+, and 2560x1080 to keep my frames decent because I couldn't afford a GPU upgrade. So this was a compromise which I still don't regret.

However, my monitor is on a large desk and it's further than arms reach away. So I don't feel the pixel density is an issue for me. But that's just my opinion.

I found this was a great option for ultra wide gaming and completing my uni study. I paid $650+ then and I know it was a terrible deal but it was the only thing that suited my needs at the time. This is a great price considering the history of these and the resolution might suit someone else like me.

An extra $10 gets you one of these if you don't need G-Sync and 144Hz.

  • One pixel per inch

    • Pixels are about 25% smaller in width than a 1440p monitor of the same size.

I do agree though you're better off getting 1440p at this size.
