Got this in Jan, it's already dead, waiting for warranty repairs now.

Glad I paid for another year of warranty.

My last Thinkpad is still going strong 5-6 years now, definitely not built the same.

and that's why I never buy consumer-grade laptops.

  • I got one of these Lenovo Flex back in 2020. Never again. The build quality is terrible.

I have a yoga 15, owned and used it for about 3 years
      Overall really disappointing
Keyboard stopped working, sent it in for repair and still abruptly stops working for a few mins
GPU memory died (idk if it's Lenovo's fault) but they replaced it for free even out of the warranty period
The screen hinges are on their way out, they make a creaking noise when i open it
Out of the box both GPU and CPU were thermal throttling (CPU reaching 99 degrees and GPU 82)
Replaced paste with some gd900 CPU temps dropped 8-10 degrees and GPU about 5 degrees
CPU runs at the full 28w it's rated for and GPU runs at base clock

  • Amazes me that people would pay $1100 for this let alone $1200

The Amazon price of around $870 was a lot more suitable.
