    For anyone that's curious the '20' part is the diameter in mm and the '32' is the thickness in mm * 0.1, i.e 3.2mm.

    2025 = 20mm across, 2.5mm thick
    1616 = 16mm across, 1.6mm thick

    etc.

      The plot thickens

  • Can anyone recommend a rechargeable version of this battery?

      Apparently they dont store much as per comment from reddit:
      https://www.reddit.com/r/batteries/comments/pzak5t/best_rech…

      Keep in mind that regular non-rechargeable CR2032 is 225mAh and the rechargeable ML2032 is only 65mAh. So unless your device you'll use it in has a built in charger, you're going to be replacing the battery (or swapping out for a charged one) much more often in this case.

      I'm with you…I'm all for using rechargeables in lieu of throw-aways. But there are some use cases where it just isn't really worth it. If the tech improves that the ML2032 could hold say 100mAh or even 150mAh, I would consider it, but in this case, it might just cause more headache than it's worth.

  • Bought it for $2 last time, only used one so far before it was sitewide 25% off on Aus day. So will probably last me for a long time. Most of my portable device uses AA or AAA.

      Cool story :)

    • I did, too. Cells had a long expiry date, plus these are in the new-style packaging with each one sealed in an individual compartment of a larger PET blister. This is meant to stop small children from getting at them and potentially swallowing one.

  • Great price, but I got a few when I had club credits :)

  • good price, just in time for my car key battery replacement :)

    keep out of reach of children!

  • Clearance for a reason? Says one of the reviews

      New packaging laws about to be introduced.

  • Cheers OP. Bought enough to keep my zigbee devices powered for the next few years.

  • Argh! Got some in transit already from Amazon for my heart rate monitor (cycling). Will remember in future that OzBargain is a thing.

  • I got a pack of these for 2 bucks 3 weeks ago. So far appear to be doing what it says on the box. Plus there is 10 of em so even if they last half as long, still cheap.

  • Thanks op, needed some!

    Is the CR2032 size same size used on motherboards?

    • Yes, typically, but there probably are a few exceptions; for a motherboard I’d pay extra for the longest lasting battery I could find , like Duracell; some of no name brands don’t last

  • Great I bought it for 2 bucks last time they're on special, now they're even cheaper…
