2TB Seagate Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S $594.15 ($580.17 eBay Plus) Delivered @ Microsoft eBay

PAPR17PAPP15

Original Coupon Deal

The 1TB version is also available for $296.65

Yes it is overpriced compared to a bare Gen 4 NVME SSD and hopefully MS reduce the RRP soon but if you want the official expansion card this is pretty much it right now.

Alternatively you can get a CFexpress adapter and look for a suitable 2230 sized card but consumer availability of larger sized variants is currently limited.

I wish they'd drop the price already. 2TB costs nearly as much as the bloody console….

      at this price…
might as well buy a new console.

garbage tier phison E19T controller that can't even break the 4GB/s barrier, marketing it as pcie 4.0. lmao this is just sad.

    • +2

I don't think it is marketed as pcie 4.0. OP was simply commenting that it is more expensive than a pcie 4.0 nvme, which is true.
…but, unfortunately it is the only expansion option for series X/S users.

  • Are there any ssd out there that can do what these do in terms of games.? The price on these is ridiculous. Essentially $600 for tb ssd actual joke

Yeah this is the one knock I have against the series x. Game pass is amazing value but the price of these kind of counteracts it.

I have to say, as much as I hate the price.. sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. Esp when they re release games that you already own for free with an upgrade and it needs it. Local 1TB gets filled up in no time. Thanks op. Been looking for a discount on this for months now.

Maybe people should better manage their games in their 1TB storage. Just install the few games you are currently playing, rather than hogging every game you have bought and installed them in your storage. Once you have finished the games, delete them.

Maybe there's a legitimate reason why it becomes nessassary and your method is not suitable for everyone?
So what happens when you share a console with your children and they all have their own taste in games?
Everyone has their own reasons. What works for you might not work for someone else.
