Since it's generic, I think you can use as many times as you like, right?

  • Worth a revisit for those games under 2 for $30 as there are many new titles added.

    • Sure, worth it. I wanted a game never discount at JB from release. I ended up import one from Amazon UK. Now, I just realised it is among 2 for 30. Half the price of my cost.

    • ^ Second this. I keep an eye on the games included somewhat regularly and a few newer additions that I just picked up include Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary, The Wonderful 101 Remastered, The Sojourn and No Straight Roads.

      • Bayonetta is the one I was talking about. ……….

      • Is the Sojourn any good?

  • Anyone can recommend which 2 games would give the best trade-in at EBGames?

  • So it will work on Ninja small appliances right? You give it to the shop assistant during check out? Will it work on already reduced/clearance items?..

Should work on your items. Worked on a phone for me.

You can call the JB sales number and ask them for their best price. Should you see the item cheaper elsewhere, they will price match. YMMV but they usually include the 5% in the price match - however, sometimes you get lucky and they forget. They send you a SMS link that you can use for click and collect.

In store it's just like a price match, they do it at the counter.

These codes also work on sales items.

      • Thanks a lot. Unfortunetely, I purchased the item already and came back home when I saw the code. Now it's a public holiday. Really hope they will honour the discount tomorrow. Will be nice ecspecially if it can be done without physical visit to the store just by the phone…

You can claim the price difference up to 14 days.

Source: bought a laptop. Next day afterpay code gave 5% discount

Some really good prices on some decent board games (e.g. Azul, Ticket To Ride, Catan, Pandemic, Ecosytem).

  • Is it just me, or you can’t buy the Garmin watches? As in, there’s no way to ad it to your cart?

    • Yes you're right, maybe sold out. I've removed it now.

For those who don't know - If you're buying anything big from JB, call their sales line first and tell them the item you're after. They'll likely give you a discount and send you an SMS with a link. Then you can apply the discount code on top of that (or they'll apply it for you)

Worked for me last time on my ASUS Z13 laptop :)

    • Does this work with Apple products?

      • I'm not sure - worth giving them a call. It will depend on the margin they make, a lot of the time the Apple margin is pretty slim.

Also keep in mind that the 5% discount excludes Apple, so the price they give you will be the final price

    • Good tip. Can you pay using gift cards? When I did the same with TGG it was a lot of hassle because they only take credit card for phone sales.

      • +5

When you negotiate a sale over the phone, you’ll be sent an SMS with a link, which will forward you onto a special checkout on JB Hi-Fi website. You’ll be able to use the same payment methods as on the regular JB Hi-Fi website.

To properly address your question, it depends on what you mean by “gift cards”.

        • If you are referring to JB Hi-Fi gift cards (i.e. gift cards issued by JB Hi-Fi), you can redeem as many as you want (in conjunction with other payment methods, if required).

        • If you are referring to TCN gift cards, you cannot redeem them directly on the JB Hi-Fi website. You’ll need to exchange them for JB Hi-Fi gift cards through the TCN website (or go into a JB Hi-Fi store and hope that staff will let you use it to purchase a JB Hi-Fi gift card).

        • If you are referring to the EFTPOS version of the Ultimate gift cards, you cannot redeem them directly on the JB Hi-Fi website. You’ll need to go into a JB Hi-Fi store and hope that staff will let you use it to purchase a JB Hi-Fi gift card.

        • If you are referring to the Visa version of the Ultimate gift cards, you can only directly redeem one card per transaction (either by directly inputting the card number, CVV2 value and the expiry date of 12/29 into the checkout, or adding the card to Apple Pay first and then use Apple Pay at the checkout). If you have multiple Ultimate (Visa) gift cards to redeem, you’ll either need to purchase JB Hi-Fi gift cards through the JB Hi-Fi website first (and JB Hi-Fi may randomly cancel your order) or go into a JB Hi-Fi store and hope that staff will let you use it to purchase a JB Hi-Fi gift card.

Wow thanks for the explanation, will keep all this in mind! I did mean just regular JB gift cards; good to know they let you pay using the same payment methods as on the regular website :)

The only game I'm really interested in is The Wonderful 101, can anyone suggest anything else of value?

    • I picked up the switch version of The Wonderful 101 & Dragon Marked for Death.

  • Samsung TV's QLED Q60A 75" - $1705.25, 65" - $1515.25, or AU8000 75" - $1420.25, 65" - $1230.25 after applying code.

  • How do you reckon I will go if I ask JB to price match the apple education store (AOC) price for the MacBook Pro 14” 2021?

can anyone confirm if this ends midnight the 16th or midnight tonight (15th)

  • If you're on ps4/ps5 and looking at Outward, it is currently cheaper on the psn store for the base game ($13.73) or only a bit more for the 'adventurer bundle' ($24.48) which includes both of the expansions.
