      Doesn’t look like the Nova

  • Anyone knows the difference between duo nova and duo sv

      • Thanks a lot mate

          No probs.

I have the Nova and the big thing seems to be the lid locking mechanism. We bought the SV from Costco for some friends. It went close to $100 so we figured it was a good deal. The only complaint they had was the sauté seemed to run a tad hot, so you risked burning the onions.

The InstantPot is a “go to” for us.

  • Just started looking for a preesure cooker so this will be great as it has slow cooker functionality too. Thanks OP.

The slow cooker function isn't very good in the Instant Pots, because they're not a big ceramic heart sink.

However, you might find that you'll be doing the pressure cooker versions of slow cooker meals because they're just so much faster

      • You just need the glass lid, works perfectly well as a slow cooker with that.

        • You also shouldn’t use the lowest setting, apparently, it is more a keep warm.

Just want to shout out how positively a pressure cooker has helped my life! Bulk cooking nutritious dump'n'go meals using dried beans is absolutely overpowered. And being able to walk away and do other stuff while it cooks!

Got a $80 Kogan knock-off which has been pretty good, but decided I got so much use out of it I might as well upgrade to the legit version to make sure recipes I follow online are exactly 1-to-1.

  • Unfortunately no further discount for 8L. I need one large for whole chicken

  • The deal is no longer available.
    Bought one on Friday :-)
