I stopped playing for 3 months or so, but have close to 2000 hours in it. Recently came back.

It is taking a lot longer to queue for games outside of peak periods.
Probably because the rocket pass system has been awful and the blueprints are insanely expensive.
Good game but some of the choices they've made from their Epic acquisition have been baffling.

The games player base on Steam since March 2021 has dropped by 48%.So unless the game has grown on other platforms is somehow growing which id be doubtful as the game went free to play in 2020 so we are past that peak.
If you go by the Charts the game hasnt had a 25k player base since 6 years ago, If it manages to continue to drop off the only records that the game will be breaking will be lower player base.

Don't know why but rocket league is a game that I've always come back to. It's just so fun and addictive, but I do think they need to do something to keep it fresh beyond a few in game trinkets and some novelty game modes every now and then.
