Recently bought a Weber GA, this is probably not the cheapest but still a good deal with free delivery from Weber.
Many other Weber BBQs are also on 20%off

@kickling: What tray is that?
Thanks OP!, been waiting a while for a deal for a Q3200 / Cover, this code just sold me.
Has anyone got a Smokey Mountain that likes to share their experience?
My mate bought one of the smokers, not the smallest one but the next size up because he said the smallest one would barely fit one rack of ribs. He produced brisket that tasted as good as we ate in Texas so I rate it very highly!!!
Thanks for sharing. They comes in 37cm, 47cm, & 57cm and cost $300+ for the extra 10cm so making the 47cm almost double the price of the 37cm 😬
I have a 47 and would recommend. Bullet smokers have a smaller foot print vs an offset or pellet smoker and lighter than an egg. The two racks (and you can add more with expanders) are nice but you have to remove the top layers to reach the bottom racks so can be a little more effort. Would definitely recommend the 47 or 57 if you plan to do brisket. Pork or chicken would be fine on a 37, even ribs with a rib rack. You can get a bit creative with a brisket sitting concavely over a metal bowl or rack but would still recommend a 47 at least.
Weber Go Anywhere is the BEST!
Picked mine up for $0 after taking it from my parents house a couple a years ago (old man wasn't using it). For $111 this is great value!!
I use it at least twice a week. Chicken wings are amazing over the coal. 1000% better than a standard gas BBQ, and hardly any more effort. Don't believe Hank Hill, charcoal is king.
If you're new to charcoal cooking, buy a charcoal chimney from bunnings for 10-20 bucks. I get enough lump charcoal burning in about 10-15 mins for the Weber GA, which is usually how long it takes me to get the meat out of the fridge to prepare.
Line the bottom with foil, captures the ash and fat which then can be easily removed after every 5 or so cooks.
I badly want the compact chimney but it's so dam expensive vs usa pricing of $20 USD.
Hey mate, complete noob when it comes to BBQ but saw this for $33.50 on Weber ebay - not sure if this similar?
Similar, but that is the full size unit.
Check Amazon for the compact, you can't buy it easily here in Aus
I know, that's why I posted, hoping someone would have some magical way to get it here and not pay $70 for something that costs $30.
@lordra: oh, ok … i got mine from amazon for $43. Must have been before the latest shipping container price jacks.
The weber branded chimney i'm sure is better build quality. This is the one of I have
https://www.bunnings.com.au/jumbuck-3-7l-bbq-charcoal-chimne…
I'm on to my third one, my last two the bottom had burnt/rusted out. I figure if it lasts 12 months with 2-3 uses a week, that's not bad for $10.
Also, smaller the chimney the better for me. My local BBQ shop had a chimney in stock about double the size of the one I linked above, its simply too big for 90% of the cooks I do (cooking for 1 or 2 ppl on the weber GA)
My use case exactly, and why I want it. I have the BBQ in the car, so want the compact to go with it. The big one is just too big. I don't understand why they don't sell the compact here.
Edit, thanks for the link, I just bought the last one in the 8th closest store to me.
Thanks for trying though! 👍
If you're looking for something compact for portability, I'd probably look at one of the folding ones that collapse down flat.
Oooooo what is this and what does it look like? Link please?
Ignore prices (I haven't looked for cheapest links).

Go Anywhere stock updated
Thanks OP, I picked up some all purpose cleaner and the instant read thermometer for a total of $38. I'm sure I could have bought generic stuff cheaper but I have been hypnotised by Weber and just used the money I've saved on other deals for this.
Code wont work for me
Looks to be on their Weber Q built in's too!

Great price OP.

164 votes, you dont need the L plates well done
Go anywhere back in stock
Thanks OP, bought go-anywhere.
Any recommendation for charcoal chimney and size (that could fit in enough coal for this bbq?
Got the Q1200 after missing out yesterday. Thanks OP
Go Anywhere is out if stock. How is the Smokey Joe compared to the GA? Anyone?
It's ok, you can still do some fantastic cooks, but personally i don't think it's as versatile and it's a bit of a space hog.
The GA is the one to get.
Thanks for the feedback.
Anyone order ship yet
Just had notification that my GA has been dispatched
Thanks, my 1200 is dispatched too, locally it seems instead of Sth Australia as per Ebay listing.
Might even get it before easter break - cheering!
edit tracking says 18th . Good old couriersplease.
Checked with Weber, their stock is updated every 15 mins. GA is in stock again.
Really? Every time I checked it’s always out of stock …
Pretty sure they were updating stock during business hours
Thanks OP! Got all bases covered now with both GA and BabyQ :-)
My Q1200 just arrived without the free seasoning.
Same here. I wonder if the seasoning is being sent seperately - I got a notification today from AusPost about another package coming from South Australia?
I only received one tracking number..

@Jimothy Wongingtons: Same here. Got my bbq yesterday and seasoning today
anyone got recommendations on where to get little screw on tanks like whats in this video here (most of the videos seem to be American)
Just got a Weber GA, back in stock but "selling fast"
E: says 8 in stock
Did anyone else receive one with chipped enamel hot plates?
Interesting … they shouldn't come with a cooking hotplate at all, just the wire cooking grill… or are you talking about the Baby Q?
Just ring weber, they have fantastic customer service.
Baby q, They’re sending out new ones so that’s nice
Baby q 1200 just arrived. I was SURE this model came with the fold out side tables, but it seems I was wrong? Mine didn't. I thought it was one of the things that sets it apart from the 1000.
Did you look at the photos in the listing before buying? I don't see any side tables… High lid and thermometer is usually what distinguishes the premium x200 models.
Side tables another $50.
Yep, Just after I wrote the above comment I went and double checked the photos and of course you are right! I think it must have been an American thing I was reading, or an Youtube comparison based on the USA models. Anyway, no biggie.
It was pictured in the photo of it at the beach in the listing - could at least say for illustration purpose.
The manual shows it too in assembly instructions. Doesn’t say it’s an optional part.
$50 for 2 pc of plastic. Will just make do.
Damn. Missed this. Want a 1200 for the back of the 4x4!
@Tool: Awesome!
Thanks mate, I've never done smoking meats as a chef so this is all new to me but I'll give anything a go and love to experiment.
Oyster blade sounds awesome! Thanks for the recommendation. I'll give it a go next time.
