Advertising antics aside, what do you think about their watch quality? I have their Portsea (black one, which I really like) and then also Flinders and one other that I can't remember right now.
I do like the Portsea a lot but I wouldn't say I got burned on my purchase prices since I noticed these guys discount like ALLLLL the time, so kept watching till the discount was heavy (30%+ before I bought it). Product itself I do like, wondering your thoughts as your name suggest you know a lot about watches :D
From what I gather they do build it in Melbourne from imported movements etc and customer service for all 3 watches / shipping was great.
I feel based on their fortnightly adds that their actual ASP is closer to their "Discounted" price than it is to their RRP.
You can probably get better quality & finish from Seiko, citizen off the numerous deals posted here from Starbuy but with this, you are supporting australian microbrands so there is that.
I bought a Hawthorn years ago. It's fine, but the Miyota 8000 series in it has the rotor noise of doom, plus it is only unidirectional winding. Don't wear it much, should get rid of it.

The Chelsea Automatic Diver Watch was posted as a bargain on 29/01/2022 for $595 Delivered, then on 09/03/2022 it was posted again for $475 Delivered. Not a good way to treat the community.
