Go solo in an epic race against time stuffed with danger and peril – or create teams of two to four adventurers for fun-packed party play as you work together to overcome nefarious tasks however you can imagine.

From Bluepoint Games comes a remake of the PlayStation classic, Demon’s Souls. Entirely rebuilt from the ground up and masterfully enhanced, this remake introduces the horrors of a fog-laden, dark fantasy land to a whole new generation of gamers. Those who have faced its trials and tribulations before, can once again challenge the darkness in stunning visual quality and incredible performance. In his quest for power, the 12th King of Boletaria, King Allant channelled the ancient Soul Arts, awakening a demon from the dawn of time itself, The Old One. With the summoning of The Old One, a colourless fog swept across the land, unleashing nightmarish creatures that hungered for human souls. Those whose souls were stripped from them, lost their minds - left only with the desire to attack the sane that remained. Now, Boletaria is cut off from the outside world, and the knights who dare penetrate the deep fog to free the land from its plight, are never seen again. As a lone warrior who has braved the baneful fog, you must face the hardest of challenges to earn the title “Slayer of Demons” and send The Old One back to its slumber.

Heads up that Demon's Souls has been $49 in the past, or even as low as $32.70 + Delivery at Catch.

Just in case you may want to hold out a bit longer in case it gets to that price again

  • Price matching Target.

    • +1

Aren't they $69 and $64 at Target respectively?

      • You're right, my bad! Disregard above.

  • +6

With elden ring out surely demons souls will drop to $39 or less. Waiting patiently

    • Same, as much as I loved the original, I'd rather wait a bit longer for a better price drop.

Elden Ring is taking up way too much of my time as it is!

  • The age old question - Demon's Souls or Elden Ring if jumping in for the first time?

    • +3

Elden ring is more accommodating for mage builds. There's areas in the game for quick levelling as well. Even though demon souls has a quick levelling area it's after a difficult area so might not be as straight forward

      • Really? I found the mage build in Demon's Souls to be pretty overpowered. I played it on PS3 with a predominantly melee oriented build and found it pretty tough. Replaying it on PS5 with a mage I found much easier (all relative when you're talking about Souls games, obviously). Especially once I got the Firestorm spell… I was able to one- or two-shot a lot of bosses with that. As well as more than a few invaders :D

      • Elden ring is more accommodating for mage builds

Drac tree sentinel would like to talk you.

    • +2

Elden Ring is the most accessible Souls game so far.

In Demon's Souls there will be times when you die and you have to redo 20 minutes and if you mess up you are going to lose your souls. Elden Ring has very little penalty for dying.

    • Elden Ring without a doubt.

  • Being a first-party title, there's a nonzero chance that Sackboy will soon be included in the new PS Plus subscription offering.

  • waiting for sackboy to be 30
