  Thought Seiko's were made in Japan.

  Product description says "Country of origin : China" ,
  The picture has "Movement in Malaysia."

    Most Japanese watches are the same. You have to spend a fair bit to get a "Made in Japan" model. I hadn't read or heard of these being made in China though - that may be the notorious Amazon poor description again. Watchnerd keeps reminding us all not to trust Amazon descriptions. Malaysian movement is very common.
