  • Patiently waiting for all time low.

Does the hardwire kit of go on sale?
    Or is ever bundled?

    • Hardly ever saw them bundled, let alone on sale.
Unless if you're buying from third party, I guess.

    • last banggood deal had the vanilla duo for under 100

  • Can this get power from usb? Thinking of routing down a usb and connecting it to my 10000 nah power bank and connecting that to the car so it charges when it’s driving and has enough power for parking mode

    • Following..

    • +2

So much easier and safer to just use the HWK3 and hardware instead with add a fuse kits

    • +1

That's like having a bomb in the car.

  • is there a fuse adapter with a usb jack so you don't have to cut wires that is compatible with this dash cam (im a newbie to dash cams)

    • +2

What you'd want is to buy thr HWK3 and a couple add a fuse kits to make a tap that requires zero cutting and is 100% reversible

  • This or A119 for $122.90? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/693739

    • 2 cams

    • +1

Depends if you just want a front cam or front and rear.

Not sure why you got negged, I didn't take it as a comparison of a better deal, more a general question

    • Depends if you want synced rear recording.

  • What are the pros/cons of the 16GB EMMC??

    • +2

You get 16 gb of data to record on if the card goes bust.
There is a permanent reminder that sd card not recording any more.

Few batches of hardware kit had issues so buyer be ware limit

An excellent DC for the money.

  • Battery cell composition Lithium Metal

does this mean they have changed it and it no longer has capacitors (better than lithium batteries for Australian weather)? or is this just a mistake?

  • +1

Looking for a simple answer if this is a good dashcam to have? Never owned or used a dashcam so no clue what should I be looking for.

    • +2

For the money its best in class. 2K video, good day and night pictures.

    • Been using it for a year now and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for one.

  • What's the difference between this & the last week deal

    • +1

      $0.60

    • +2

This model has 16GB of built-in storage, the other one doesn't.

  • Ordered.
What is the recommended card for this one?
    Thanks

  • Hi guys. I got this and can't seem to get my 256gb sandisk extreme micro sd card working. Keeps coming up with a prompt to format sd card although my 128gb sandisk extreme card works no problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And can this dashcam even support 256gb?

    • I have 512gb in mine

  • Hi John, what brand is your sd card?

  • Does anyone know from where can I buy the transparent static plastic film. I can only find 1 in the box, but I need to mount both front and rear
    TIA

  • Rear camera died.
    Returned to Amazon.
    Video quality was pretty good.
I'll buy another one but this time front only
or maybe go with 2 cameras and use 1 as rear one.
