Cheapest Gundam version I can see. Standard version was about 100 bucks cheaper during Afterpay deals but this price was also a “deal” at various points last year. I don’t feel it’s an outrageous markup for a pretty unique product. I just picked one up and there seems to be quite a lot of stock.

They've always sold a small selection of computer equipment. Including IoT stuff like smart bulbs.
They even sell waffle makers.
Not a modem just a router, the dsl modem router not sold in Australia by asus as they have exclusive deal with optus , so only optus sell rebranded optus version, ie optus gaming modem router. So router not able to be used with fttn unless bridged to a modem.
They sell a bunch of random hardware nowadays… and prebuilt PCs (with EB markup).
I wish they made agundam unicorn router with red flashing leds. That's be cool
Can you use this to replace standard nbn router ?
Depends, what kind of NBN is in your area? If it’s hfc(from foxtel cable) then no.
Even if you could use this (not certain) you’d need to leave current nbn router if you ever sell or rent out the house.
When you write nbn router do you mean ntd/modem?
Pretty sure the NTDs are technically routers (and are a modem), but yes that’s what I mean.
HFC comes into your house as Coax cable, which then enters a modern. This modem is not a router.
Your router (the one your ISP provides, or your own choice like the one in this very deal) plugs into the modem via Ethernet.
@WhyAmICommenting: nbn NTDs are not routers. The nbn NTD for HFC is a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem.
This is incorrect.
If you have HFC, then you can absolutely replace your router with this (or any other) - the HFC modem just has a standard Ethernet port that you can plug in any router.
Depending on your ISP you might have specific requirements for authentication or to use your landline… so some ISPs have more complicated router requirements than others.
I have this. Good router for features but range was pretty bad

The black one has been on sale between $240 and $300 several times last year. This isn't a deal.
Yes the black one has. The router in this deal a special edition one. I don't see any deals for this version on OzBargain.
Anyone know how this compares to the ASUS TUF Gaming AX5400?
