    • Spare batteries are sold by Panmi so those reviews are null.

      • +2

Except, should you need to be replacing the batteries in the first place?

        • I swap my battery over when it's flat so I can continue vacuuming. Or you know do a warranty if it's faulty?

  • I got mine from Aldi @ 149 at clearance

    • -1

Lucky you and happy you got such a good "one off" type deal, feel the same when I do too.

No need to really mention that price as this is for most now the best price they can get and a good deal.

      • +2

I think it's a fair point - so people know what price they can try to obtain it at. Just gotta get lucky and hope their local Aldi have it on clearance :)

        • +1

That's fair enough if "zaki89" mentioned when/how long ago and even from which store the clearance was from,

that's if your happy to help people out rather than grandstanding your better bargain.

Some people even mention how much stock is left at a given store which helps stop waste time and possibly expensive fuel.

    • I am watching for when Aldi has them in stock again

  • What's the verdict on this? I've had the Dreame V9 for years and very happy with it but it's showing its age.

    • +1

Reviews online are hit and miss - mainly in relation to battery failure issues. I guess at this price you could take a punt and fall back on warranty if there are any issues.

I bought one a few weeks ago and it's been flawless so far, but maybe I got lucky? YMMV

    • Saying that my mums Dyson V7 less than 6 months in also had a battery fail ( maybe as she

rarely used it and was always full plugged in, service centre advised us better to use it every few weeks at least ).

The Dyson service centre/support was great and after some basic checklist procedures, they sent a new battery

out in a week, so good warranty support there.

  • Replacement battery price is absurd especially since it seems like it has a high failure rate.

It would be a good deal if a spare battery was included for $220

  • +1

A deal on vacume + spare battery could be good for some too, $249.

  • Code still works. Any chance we can get a code for the $249 vacuum and battery combo?

  • Just got this, awesome vaccum but the battery life is terrible. Recommend others definitely buy with the extra battery.

    • can you define "terrible" ??

  • +1

Be careful guys and check your vacuum. I bought the extra battery combo and they sent me a used/refurbed unit and no extra battery with no note or email.

The unit, accessories, pole and even the stand had tiny scratches, dents an blemishes. Only the motorised head seemed to be brand new.

I had to print out a return label and send it back to them. They wouldn't send a new on out to me until they receive their one back first which sucks.

They also said that there are no extra batteries until end of May. They didn't say anything about that until I asked. That's shocking.

    • I'm sorry for your shopping experience.

As we've sent you a return shipping label, i guess the team has been responding to your inquiry. The battery issue is unfortunately beyond our control due to the lockdown in China affecting battery component delivery times. We are very sorry for the delay,

      • +1

Saying sorry doesn't make up for the fact that you tried to send a customer a used unit passing it off as brand new hoping the customer won't notice.

If you have no stock of the battery, why didn't you tell me?

If you have no stock, then take the darn item off your website. Listing an item for sale without stock and taking people's money is wrong. Put a notice on your website that it is out of stock or backordered. You're greedy and don't want to lose sales and it's affecting customers.

Your team is pathetic. The "support" don't reply to emails until around 48 hours+ later. You've received the vacuum back on Monday and still haven't sent me a replacement.

You should have sent me the brand new replacement first. This isn't a normal warranty return. This was all your fault. Why hasn't a new unit been sent out yet? You kept saying soon in multiple e-mails.

I will tell everyone not to buy from you whenever any deals are posted here. You will lose sales unless you show the community here how you will fix this problem. Remember, this will be your fault, not mine.

  • How long is delivery from these guys?

    • -2

They won't have stock. Don't buy from them.

      • I already did. And I received it today

        • They must have just gotten stock. They sent my replacement out yesterday. Still no stock of the extra battery.

          • @NoApostrophePlurals: How long does the battery last before dying anyways?

            • @CereaL: I have no idea, I didn't test it. They tried to pass off a used/refurbed unit to me as brand new so I sent it back immediately. Waiting for the new replacement to arrive today or tomorrow. I'm in a regional area so it'll be longer than metro for it to arrive.

            • @CereaL: If you look after it, it should last 2/3 years.

This shouldn't be a problem as the battery has led indicator. Don't Let it hit last light, and once it's charged remove from charger. If you're not doing those things the battery won't last long, probably 6 months and will start to fail. You'll notice when it doesn't hold charge as long

              • @Bretttick: @Bretttick oh that's the word i wanted .. charge … Sorry !!

As in .. how long usage do you get for each charge (approx) ….

                • +1

@CereaL: I think around 50mins on lowest setting. Haven't used the other settings

  • Is the coupon still working for anyone else? I'm getting an "Enter a valid discount code." error.

    • looks like it's dead :/

      • +2

The code CF-10%-ALL is still working, comes out to $170.10
