@andresampras: Of course by 'afford' I mean could justify spending the required amount on it. Those people care very much about audio quality, but apparently wouldn't be interested in this device.

Glass speaker??
why would you get this when you could get the Edifier 350/360DB?
Awesome speaker with the light especially in a bedroom. The bass this thing can create and it surround sound from a single speaker is insane. Have the Aura Studio 2 also with the open top for years.
From memory I paid $320 for this one from Bing Lee when it was first released.
Somewhat reminiscent of a previous speaker they made…
