  • Link says $78?

  • $78 for me as well.

  • My bad guys… website didn't update correctly, it will show $62 in about a minute :S

  • Clicked first time, $78… closed tab, clicked again $62?! O_o

    • Ordered and chose pick up since I live pretty close to Penshurst, its the shop near the Dominos Pizza yeah?

Can I pick up on 14th May or do I have to wait until the 15th?

  • Would you be able to post me the code on the day?
I'm not fussed about the CD or box.

    • +1

We would be happy to do that for you, however please keep in mind the servers don't go live until 5pm AEST, by which time your box and cd may have already arrived :D

  • Thanks, good price. And only $4.90 shipping to Melb, with insurance for $0.93.

  • what languages/ does this version support?

    • Martian.

  • What do you think are the chances of it not arriving on launch date. I am excited for Guild Wars 2 and was planning on getting it on release date but with the prices of the site IF the product comes on the release date it would be great.

    • Note: I live in Sydney.

how do u expect to recieve somthing posted on the same day the supplier gets it blopd. please utilize some common sense

        • +6

Read the post again foots. Supplier clearly says that they will post it out on the 14th May which is a day before release. Since shipping is estimated between 1-3 days, blopd was just asking what the chances are for him to get the game the next day (aka release day).

        • +2

If you live near Penshurst NSW you can order online and select pick up in store (avoiding delivery costs), alternatively for the Sydney Metro area we do also offer same day/next day delivery for $11 if its urgent, 1-3 day express is $8.90, or standard post is $4.90.
Note: In store Pick ups from 9am on 15/5/12

  • ahhh so tempted

  • +1

Now my diablo needs are satisfied!

  • Rep: Just making sure this is an Australian copy? for the trading thingy feature

    • Interested in knowing this too

    • Yes, we are an Australian Retailer (Since 1982) and stock is Australian. But please read the comments below regarding the Battle Net Auction house.

  • "Each of Diablo III’s three game regions — The Americas, Europe, and Asia — has its own separate set of gold- and real-money auction houses (one for each supported currency in the region). Which auction houses you have access to is determined by where you live — specifically, the country of residence registered to your Battle.net® account. In general, players can access the gold auction house in every game region, but can only access real-money auction houses in their home game region."

EDIT:Looks like buying EU and AU versions will be no different as it will all depend on your BNET account.

    $62.00 + $4.90 Shipping + $0.93 Insurance = $67.83 delivered
pretty good price if you can pick up but if you cant pick up from gamesmen store or dont have one near by you, i reckon you might as well go to one of the following options if you want AU copy. just ring your nearest store to pre-order then pick up on the 15th…

    $69 @ JBHiFi - http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/game/pc-games/diablo-3/654000
    $68 @ HN - http://www.harveynorman.com.au/diablo-iii-pc.html

    • i bet there will be a grand launch special on that day, otherwise, will buy from UK about $50. i know i will wait up to 2 weeks, totally fine to me.

  • Or just get the key sent to you and save the 6 bucks on shipping.
Who needs an install DVD in this day and age, you can't play the game without an internet connection anyways.

  • +2

OMG i didnt know you guys were still around. i remember looking at your catalogue and wanting to buy an Atari

    • We love seeing comments like this, thanks for the love. If you're interested you can check out our very first catalogue on our Facebook Timeline (http://www.facebook.com/gamesmen)

  • Pretty awesome deal!! But for the true tight arses out there, ozgameshop has it for $59.99 delivered.

    • -1

NO, the true ozbargainer at this moment should order from DVD.co.uk. it only costs approx $51 shipped!!!!!

      • -1

If you don't mind waiting at least a week for it to arrive.

        • of cos i dont mind, if you can read.

      • Really? I just looked and they want 38 pounds or 47 Euros which is about $60

        • they remove the vat.

    • wow, price jump! They've gradually been increasing their price at ozgameshop since I got it for $52.99 4 weeks ago.

  • Are you sure servers go live at 17:00 AEST? I read that the go live will be midday PST which works out to be 7am AEST on Sat Morning?

EDIT: NVM I just found a post confirming 17:00 AEST. Yay!

  • Does Adelaide count as East Coast?

    • If you're in the Metro area then there's a good chance of the delivery arriving on the 15th. Outside the metro area (regional) usually 2 days or 3 for more remote locations.

  • -1

Why is this considered a bargain? There have been several cheaper prices available. e.g. ozgameshop, various CD-Key only sites and gamewave.

    • -8

The Auction house is region locked, so if you're interested in the Auction House this is most definitely a bargain.

      • +2

Locked to your battlenet account region. Game is region free.

        • I believe it would be because of fast delivery.

        • ozgameshop bumped their prices up to $59.99 and from experience, takes 3-4 weeks for shipping… and some people want the CD as well, rather than just the cd-key =P

        • some people cant wait to start the game ASAP, so they dont consider importing D3.

@Serapis, sorry about your "experience", i have never had same experience as you waiting for 3-4 weeks of delivery.

also, there are other uk online retailers other than ozgameshop or zavvi…..sigh…

    • +1

Support local retailers, otherwise you will only see woolies and coles in your nearest shopping center

      • +2

Support them even though the price is much higher? That's absurd, they aren't a charity.

      • +2

I never understood this kind of thinking. If "woolies and coles" are able to provide cheaper items why would I throw away my money to support the more expensive option?

In this case the "local guy" is cheaper so I will go with them :D

        • +3

Because if all Australian retailers are gone, you will not get cheaper pricing once the competition is gone.

Looks what happening in the retail electronic sector,

All the major chains gone bust,

Your left with JB Hifi, HVN, Bing Lee

Can't expect everyone to be patriotic, but simply put -

Australian retailers are put at a disadvantage because this LITTLE country of ours have TINY demand, what Oz wholesale prices for starters are significantly higher.

Unless your telling them all to go F(& themselves and pack up, fair enough. Go shop online and buy from your overseas sellers.

But their deal is a good deal for a local retailer, thats my 2cents worth.

Neither do you need to agree

        • +3

          @Aceboy884

          Thanks for the reply :)

If competition disappears then prices would go up? If that is the case, then smaller locals would pop up offering better deals, because there is a demand for better prices. This is mainly why I think supporting the cheapest option is best (at least for my funds anyway :P)
