Hey guys I was just curious I saw a ledger device that I think was second-hand.
What's your thoughts on these devices when they are 2nd hand is it worth getting? Or should I get one brand new the device was a Ledger Nano S

Buying Using 2nd hand cold wallets is a no no.
Hard no. The point of these devices is to secure large amounts of funds. Why would you compromise that to save $50 or so?
Buy direct from the manufacturer, use a business address or Parcel locker/PO Box for delivery.
No way. Wouldnt even buy one from a non-authorised reseller.
The fact that you're considering getting a hardware wallet means that you probably have a decent sum of coins that you want to store, otherwise you might as well leave it on the exchange if it's only a few hundred or a few thousand.
So you're, I assume, putting at risk tens of thousands or more, just to save a measly 100 bucks on a second hand wallet. Doesn't make sense.
thanks for everyone replying i greatly appreciate it :)
Never use a 2nd hand ledger. This is an investment. Always buy from original manufacturer
