J. Burrows Wireless Comfort Mouse $7 (Was $19) @ Officeworks

120

Saw this at my local Officeworks. Figured I'd give it a shot since my upright's scroll wheel is misbehaving, and this was… well… $7.

  • Please don't mistake this comfort mouse for proper therapy.

    • Yeah. I'm already feeling a bit of strain. I might take it to work or something instead.

I'd love to get the Logitech one. https://www.logitech.com/en-au/products/mice/mx-vertical-erg…

They need a budget or mid-range version. It's out of my price range.

I started getting similar strain from mouse use. What helped me was a wrist rest.

Wider and slightly more comfortable than the jburrows one.

        jburrows version:

Both essentially do the same thing though.

I've seen cheaper verticle mice at Officeworks, $20 - $30. Worth trying, keep the packaging & if it doesn't support you, return it.

Generally I found verticle mice very very good to use, it lays the hand & arm in a more natural position.
In fact times I used them I just left my hand on the mouse, very comfy.
Some twenty years ago these were not so available at apx $140.
Hope that helps & good luck.

Oh no, stay away from J Burrows, it’s all all ridiculously bad quality. Our admin people dish out this stuff at work when you ask for headsets or keyboards etc. People turf it within weeks.

jburrows mice wouldn't be so bad if they made the scroll wheel scroll a lot more smoothly. feels like it's catching on something inside and has a scrapy/scratchy action to it. avoid and get a logitech m185
