How many use your premier service that provides nothing?

Is the price listed here a bait price?

    • I don't understand what you're asking. Can you please elaborate on what you mean by "bait price"?

      • +1

        $500 AUD ≈ 0.0085 BTC

Are you sure the user will receive 0.0085 BTC?

        • +1

It would depend on the order type you choose.

For example, you can choose to purchase bitcoin with a Market Order which will buy $500 of bitcoin at the time you confirm your order. Keep in mind, market movements and volatility can introduce slippage.

    Yet another popup exchange

    • +4

Pop-up exchanges don't stay in business since 2013 or partner with one of the most historic NRL teams ;)

Yawn, 2 aussie exchanges i know off (maybe more im not aware off) have gone out of buisness .

Rather stick with the bigger guns that carry lesser risk

At the time of this comment.

bitcoin live price on Coinspot - $60,574.73
bitcoin live price on Binance - $59,895.19

    errr…. lol

    • … even the price is lower than Binance…

      • Buy the dip

You realise that's a benefit to you, right?

        • yea its pretty good! 0.9% btc fees on buy, marginally better than coinspot also

  • Can I sell the 20 dollar worth of Bitcoin after signing up

    • Our minimum sell price is $20, so yes you can.

      • how much cash will user get at the end for the A$20 worth bitcoin now (after all transaction and service fee)? :)

        • Not sure enough to make a definite comment but give it a shot and report back :D

What is the BTC withdraw fee on Cointree?

    • For a new account starting at Bronze tier, the buy/sell fee is 0.9% and 0.25% for coin-to-coin trades :D

      • That’s really high OP. A platform can’t take off if it’s that high. You may say you’re working in bringing the cost down but this is one of the main reasons why platforms that can’t compete and die off over time.

        • There are many factors that lead to something like that and I understand where you're coming from, entirely.
For example, our fees are lower than CoinSpot and they're another one of the top Australian exchanges.

Also, we are working to bring the cost of fees down ;) haha

          Thank you for your comment,
          Alex

        • I thought you said that you were loving full price, no?
Love full price means love expensive, no?
          hence you commented fee high???

          • @thomalfa: I don't understand what you're trying to say, sorry. Would you mind elaborating for me please?

      • But what about fee to withdraw BTC to my own address?

        • In that case, I believe you would only be charged the blockchain transaction fee, not a fee from Cointree.

  • It asks for a promo code. What is it please?

    • +1

That's an optional field, you can leave it blank mate :)

  • only see get $10 now

    • If you followed the instructions on the post, you'll see $20 of BTC in your account before the end of the day :)

  • Hello, i signed up but the promo was only $10, can you please adjust this for my account

    • As said in the post, if you sign up using the specified link you will receive AU$20 worth of BTC on Monday (today).

    G'day OzBargainers!

Thank you to everyone who signed up over the last couple of days. All qualified accounts will be credited with their BTC by COB today!
    Melbourne time

    Thank you again,
    Alex

    • Got an email about unsuccessful trading into Gold Bullion (Rush Gold) (GOLDRG)… ?

      • As a secret bonus, some of the new sign ups from OzBargain were randomly given some real gold bullion. If you received that message, you weren't one of those account I'm afraid.

  • I can confirm this worked for me, thank you CoinTree

  • Hi Alex, why does it take 3-5 business days to withdraw cash? Especially since deposits are near instant with Osko. This is a major flaw that would put most people off.

The few cent deposit to confirm your bank account is also coming from a bank account called "Boss Access Acco" which doesn't strike me as particularly professional.
