probably 1x4gb and 1 that does nothing

    Interesting idea

  • I just can't get over the fact that the original site is selling these for $149.

    • +4

Probably the RRP from the 1990's.

  • Looks nice, but it's interesting that even on eBay there is nothing approaching this deal. It's only $27, but I suppose we'll just have to see? Four weeks for delivery, guys!

Perfect for my James Bond missions, but I think I'll pass.

  • Wear this to a geeky type convention and they'll all have mini laptops as their cufflinks and will laugh at your pitiful 4GB storage space.

      There's no cufflink holes on a T-chirt, mate :-D

Hmmm - here's an idea… I wonder who'll release the first USB piercing hardware?

  • mini usb earrings next

Seems like something a spy would wear.

Seems like something a douchebag would wear.

      • lol

        douchebag reporting in!

      • +8

        hahahahaha

(and yet I still want one)

    • Show this off at your next party and pull chicks like Bond! …or not.

      • what pull them off the USB drive in the form of jpegs and gifs?

  • +2

This will go well with my USB Hub belt buckle.

I'm picturing James Bond yanking off one of his cuff links and downloading some Russian nuclear launch codes on to it, then just as he makes his escape a guard yells "Halt!" and proceeds to pat him down, with Bond cracking a sly grin as the guard turns up nothing.

… and then later, after returning to base, cut to Bond performing some cool and confident keystrokes, then suddeninly punching the computer terminal and screaming out…

"Aggghhhh bugger, I JUST KNEW I should have used H2testw to test if those chinese cufflinks really were 4GB"

  • +3

This would have been perfect for Michael Williamson (chuckle)

  • Got 2 >.<" one for myself (couldn't help it) and one as a spare present…

god hopes they don't come totally cheesy and whacked up, transferring at 0.5 mb/s :(

What you can do is keep 1 from each pack that contain the 4GB memory… and give the other 2 away as fashion accessories.

      • great idea ;)

  • +2

So don't call me a wet blanket, but when you use these do you take them off your sleeve and let the sleeve flap about, or do you hold your arm in place while you transfer files?

    • +5

Real men aren't afraid to just roll their sleeves up

    • +4

The cufflink is the lid, not the USB drive. The USB bit pulls out out leaving your shirt safely done up.

  • Still waiting for the 4gb cufflinks with built in extension/garotte cord.

  • +7

finally… i can bring my porn to work covert style…

  • i know it's sad, i know it's geeky, but god-daymnit i know i just bought it!!

  • +2

The old flashdrive in the cufflinks trick.

  • +3

What will they think of next, a phone in a shoe?

    • +1

Shhh… quiet about your ideas or Apple will patent it claiming it was their idea!

      • +1

Don't worry, as soon as they can find a mac user who can actually spell 'injunction' they'll be straight onto it! :p

  • Ultra geek!

  • Received mine today. Confirming only one is a USB, the other just looks remarkably the same. Each cufflink comes in a little plastic bag, both inside of a small jewellry bag. The one that is a USB has a shiny '4GB' sticker on the plastic bag. Currently testing w/ h2testw.

    Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
    Writing speed: 3.47 MByte/s
    Reading speed: 12.3 MByte/s
    H2testw v1.4

Test was of the whole capacity, which was shown in h2testw as 3816MB.

    • What order number did you have? I had 11X and haven't received mine yet.

      • Ouffer ID: 5
        Is that what you meant?

        • Yep, cheers :) I won't worry too much then.
