Good for Spinrite, maybe some emergency OS recovery software too. My car MP3 player only accepts non high capacity (4gb +) SD cards so these are a good deal.

  Lots of older things won't accept SDHC cards
  
  For example, you get a LOT of voice recordings on a 2GB card. My notetaker (which came with a 32MB SD originally) says something crazy like "9999hrs remaining" when I put a 2GB card in it LOL
